This is the first true vr experience I've had, and it's definitely been impressive. Some of the games are almost like out of body experiences because of how realistic they seem. If you are into new technology, it's definitely worth the buy. I can't quite say it's a must buy at this price though, because it's not something youre going to want to play all the time, and you'll have to spend a lot on it.

This is a great VR headset, especially for the price. The quality is good, just don't expect the resolution to look as great as it does on your TV. Would like to see more games but it is still early, would have been better if they could have done away with a chord but again, VR is still new and it can only get better. If you are on the fence about buying, rest easy and just do it. Totally worth it.

T here is nothing I can write to show how blown away you will be when you try this out with the Star Wars Battlefront PSVR Add-On - the YouTube videos simply cannot do it any justice. There are some cons with this 1st Gen PSVR 1) The pass through mechanism from the PS4 to the PSVR to the TV is OK, but does not support 4K. To get the 4K output from your PS4, you will need to disconnect the PSVR and plug it back into the console - irritating for now, maddening once 4K content is more prevalent 2) 720P looks jaggy.

The psvr is good looking, easy to set up, and the gameplay is fantastic. Anyone that wants to dip their toe in virtual reality, definitely try the psvr!

The PSVR is incredible, while there are no "big" games for it yet there are some experiences that have to be experienced to understand. If you get one take this advice: Watch other people experience VR for the first time every chance you get. My wife hates video games and she was giggling like a little kid when she played for the first time. If it's in your budget, PSVR is a must own product.

I’m not easily impressed but wasn’t prepared for just how good this thing is. Sure it’s kinda heavy and clunky but DAYUM! The visual effect is GREAT.

This works amazing still after all this time but I do hope they come out with more games :) This is the most comfortable and is actually the only VR headset that allows you to comfortably wear glasses. I wear glasses and have no issues with this at all. It's not as disorienting as my Oculus headset either, I feel just fine when taking it off and while wearing it. We love it!

This was great fun for parties. The only downside to this is that it does not pass through HDR. The next version will. For now, cable swapping.

I purchased this a mouth ago and wish the sell person told me of the new model releasing soon. With this connected - no HDR content from PS4.

PSVR is a very solid VR headset. It's incredibly comfortable and the weight distribution is fantastic. Great software choices as well, especially Resident Evil VII. Very immersive experience. 1 star removed for lack of HDR pass through and no HDCP 2.2 compliance through PSVR, which means no HDR gaming when PSVR is hooked up to your PS4. You have to jump through hoops and unplug and re-plug cables to play HDR games. I also highly recommended having PS4 Pro to get the full potential out of PSVR.

While there are more expensive systems out there which may have better resolution the ps vr does not disappoint. For the price and ease of use I don't think it can even be beat by the rift or HTC. Only downside at the moment is a lack of games, but that is slowly changing. Keep in mind playing multiple hours in VR can be taxing, but it definitely brings a fun new way to game.

My friend had been trying to convince me to get into this for the longest time. I just thought it was way too gimmicky and didn't see any use for it, but I've been playing Elite dangerous for a few months now and I'm hoping that they will make the PS4 version VR compatible so when the non HDR through headset went on sale for $200 before Black Friday, I bought it, including the $40 camera. I was ultimately disappointed with the price point because weeks after Black Friday, bundles including the camera and Gran Turismo Sport were going on sale for less than 200, but that's neither here nor there. Because I thought this was so gimmicky, my expectations were fairly high. After hearing people Rave about it so much, I figured there must be something truly amazing about this, and considering I just spent $200 on it there better be. Honestly, it is one of the most amazing, immersive, eye opening experiences I've ever gone through. The PlayStation VR Worlds, specifically the underwater one, changed my opinion on deep sea diving. I used to not care for it, now I have a genuine interest in trying it. Every game I tried had a different flavor, not to be cliché but it was a different world every time and I couldn't wait to get more into it and learn more about it. My experience was completely positive up until I tried the demo for Driveclub VR. Just to clarify, I'm not blaming this on Driveclub VR, it was just one of the higher motion games I played, and one of the most immersive I think. I made it through about half a lap, and had to turn it off because I was getting intense motion sickness. The most frustrating part? I had my girlfriend, her mom, both her brothers and her brother's girlfriend, her aunt and her grandparents try it over the holidays, and no one got motion sickness but me. Go figure right?

    Not what I was expecting

I was extremely excited for VR. I purchased this headset hoping that it would be everything I'd ever imagined... but its not. Maybe my expectations were too high to begin with. The headset IS very comfortable. Its much more so than the Samsung Gear VR. It gets a little hot on your head after a little bit, especially if you have a nice set of gaming headphones on with it. The external box you have to use to hook it up is also a disappointing. I bought a PS4 Pro thinking I would be able to bypass the box with it, but I was wrong. Thought I'd read that you could somewhere before I made the purchase. The problem with the box is that I get a lot of screen flicker if I'm not using the VR headset. If I just want to play a regular game but NOT have to rewire every time, my screen will occasionally go blank and them come back. Its all because I'm routing the HDMI signal through that box now. I've also come to find that there really aren't a lot of GOOD VR options. Most games I'm seeing are mini games, demos, and interactive videos basically. I was really hoping we would get some AAA games on board with VR. Yes there is RE 7, but that wasn't designed specifically for VR. If they don't, and things keep to the current style of games they're putting out for it, VR will not last. It'll go the way of 3D. Right now I can't recommend this product. That may change in a year if they start putting out some high quality full games made for VR.
