It Works!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am happy I held off on getting one of the headsets for a PC since they are substantially more expensive on top of the PC you need to run them. I wasn't sure the quality of the experience would be as good on a PS4, but I am extremely pleased with the tracking and image quality. I don't notice the screen door effect as much as I have on other headsets. The motion tracking of the controllers can be a little jittery but nothing that ruins the experience for me. Plus it varies from game to game so I am sure as we get further into the lifecycle we'll see improvements. The games have been super fun and people who never play games that I have let try it are completely in love with it.

Fun to play with !
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.SInce it's release, I've been wanting to have this, but the price and newness of the gadget, hold me back tremendously. But when they slash $100 off it, I immediately go for it .... and have no regrets ! It's the new way of playing video games that hook me into it. Love it !!!

Amazing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So the first thing I have to say is wow this thing is amazing I was able to try the Oculus Rift that was pretty cool but once I tried this one with PlayStation I was able to play Resident Evil 7 in VR mode which by the way is the only way to play and a couple of other games Graphics look great precision with head tracking and PS move Sticks. This thing is very accurate very fun people say they get dizzy or nausea but I think those are isolated instances because not once did I feel that and I was able to play more than 20 minutes at a time. Actually went on two three hours at a time so you have it's definitely worth the money.

WOW
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is awesome. I loved it and I HOPE playstation comes out with a PSVR2. There are a few things I would fix, like the resolution is a bit low, but its expected as a first generation for an item like this. Cant wait to see whats next playstation

Great VR unit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my opinion this is the best VR unit out there for the money. Love the PSVR feel, comfort and image quality. It is the first generation unit so don't expect 4K image quality, the unit does have a grey film when looking at black background. The unit is very comfortable to wear, it would have been better if is wireless, however there are no wireless VR units yet. One thing that would have been nice is for the unit to be able to flip up instead of having to take it off when wanting to maneuver around or having to grab any of the the remotes (just like night vision goggles).

Omg
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No joke. This fits like a dream, graphically it’s beautiful, even for me who can’t see up close. You can wear glasses if need be and it’s still comfortable. It’s Real, you’re in the game, not kidding. Be prepared.

This is some cool tech
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only thing I can really say is you have to try it out. The VR is great, very immersive experience. I play in a room with surround sound, when I put the headset on, I am transported into the game world. So cool. Most games at this point seem more like tech demos. Batman VR is the best of the launch games. Resident Evil 7 is a most purchase, to truly experience PS VR. Headset is comfortable and you can easily play it for extended periods of time. Although, take a break from time to time, to avoid strain.

Ilusion of Depth and Closeness is Phenomenal.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a while I knew I wanted a VR that was affordable and was close to the high-end ones. I read reviews and seen countless Youtube Videos on the PSVR but I told myself not to get hyped up (based on some negative reviews I've seen as well) . Then, I played the Rush of Blood Demo on the Demo Disc you get with the VR only kit and got Freaked out big time when a Zombie jumped out right in front of my face! At that point I was like, THIS IS THE FUTURE. The PSVR is a True Mind-Bender and Game Changer. You can't explain it until you have dawned on the headset yourself. But let me explain best as I can: On a normal TV the zombie jumping at you it's not really frightening but the VR's illusion of depth and closeness is phenomenal making it SO much scarier in a fun way. To Explain how the VR works it's like wearing goggles and everything around you is in 3D (I believe using the same technology as the 3DS). You FEEL like you are there, you SENSE that you are on a roller-coaster. Scale and size is accurate and huge and I just LOVE looking at how BIG or how small things can be (You look UP, and things are towering above you). You can also look at items up close, kneel and go all 360. I love that the demos I played so far uses the VR to it's extent where you have to move and see surprises you may not have seen when you are just sitting there. Tracking isn't bad at all as long as you go through your settings. And Putting the PS4 Camera ON a Tripod helps too with a rubber-band cause then you can move the camera anywhere instead of on your TV. It makes for a better more fluid experience. And that's what it is, an Experience you can't fully explain. You really do feel like you are in the video game. You are not just a third person through a window. You are first person, or third person within the world of the VR not just watching a screen. Normal video games are still amazing and cool- but I really hope they can develop more on PSVR titles cause it's truly an immersive good time. Sometimes it's majestic and other times it's downright freaky.

Great product for a short time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the VR on Black Friday and have had it for over a month. It is truly a whole new experience of gaming with an amazing wow feeling. The games run smoothly and set up was a breeze. With that being said I have found that the headset squeezes my head to tight and also after 20-30 min of playing I would have to remove the headset as I would feel like I would throw up. I have tried to purchase some motion sickness medication but it did not help very much. If you can by pass the sickness issue this is a great product with great future!

Great products
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My review of the VR unit is better than what I expected. I’m happy with my unit and see the different vr. Better to wear glasses as instructed. Tying to play the demo can get boring but you get used to it.

Truly Amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was completely skeptical when buying this. I was considering almost as a buy and try deal. I just knew that if it wasnt truly mind blowing, I wasn't going to spend that kind of money. But literally after wearing the headset for 5 seconds, I knew this was different. The first game I loaded was the kitchen demo. And as soon as the opening screen loads and you are able to look all around the room, its game changing. Literally and figuratively. I would strongly suggest everyone trying this at least once. The only downfall is out of the 10 people Ive had over to try it out, only 3 could handle the VR for solid time frames. And even of those 3, there were certain games they could not do at all. Its a shame more testing stations aren't setup at retailors for this. You might truly love and enjoy the VR experience but your body wont let you. Sales for this system will probably only reach a certain peak simply because some peoples bodies cannot handle it. So if you're able to try one somewhere, or know someone who has one, definitely do that before going through the hassle of buying it yourself and having to return it.

Great Experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although I may try this device for gaming, I bought it solely to enjoy 3D Blu-ray content and to watch movies without disturbing others in the environment. The downside to me is that I later found that even just to watch movies, the separate camera is still required. The camera is not used for movie watching, BUT the VR will not activate at all until calibrated with the camera. This makes the it a very expensive add-on for just movie watching. Unfortunately, few UHD TVs do not offer 3D viewing, so this is a way around it. . . watching the 3D movie with the PS4 and the VR helmet add on Having said all that, the 3D movie viewing experience is like sitting in a private theater and the 3D effect is virtually perfect. It's a lot of equipment to wear on your head for two hours. I have found a comfortable way to lie down while watching the movies. It's just a matter of getting the virtyal screen pointed at the ceiling when putting on the device.

PS VR rocks!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was an awesome purchase! I recommend pairing it up w/ the PS Pro if you can. The games run smoother and you're less likely to feel the motion sickness. This is the future of gaming. If you're looking to get your kid a Christmas present, this would definitely make their Holidays more cheerful. My GF loved it and her whole family wants me to bring it over for the Holidays lol. Just remember, you MAY feel motion sickness. Just take it slow and easy. Take breaks and enjoy! Happy Holidays!

I'm going to go with a big ol GOOD
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The launch titles are WEAK . they are fun for about 1 or 2 hours... because that's about all they last. i honestly went to best buy looking for new vr games... and was disappointed with the launch titles... much like i was when the ps4 came out. of course this will all change with time... and only time will tell if the vr has lasting power. with that thought in mind ... remember this is a 600 dollar investment. you also need the camera and for SOME games you need to motion controller (i think) well, there are some games you can use a ps4 controller for sure . again... just like i said about the ps4 pro... unless you're a hardcore gamer (like myself) this may be something you wait out on until the tech improves and more games are released it's all up to you... but if there are any parents reading that don't know much about games... i am just trying to help you out. one last thing... the experience is awesome. but it's a short, expensive experience... and that's up to you to decide if 600 dollars is worth it. hopefully i helped somebody out there!

Yay Virtual Reality!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in the air about buying the PS VR. I read a lot about it and all of the other more expensive VR products. i went with the PS VR because I am not a hardcore gamer and did not want to spend an inordinate amount on VR. Plus I already had the PS Move controllers from my PS3. I am happy with the experience. It is fun and gets the job done. I experience the feeling of being high on the ledge of a building when playing Batman Arkham VR and that is just cool. I have decided that the complaints of dizziness that you may read about aren't saying that the VR makes you dizziness. I believe that these gamers are referring to the natural feeling you get when placed in the situations that VR puts you in. The only con is the video quality. The quality is not that of the PS4 games you are accustomed to playing. More like PS2 graphics. That is the only disappointment. It does not take away from the VR immersive experience. I have read that the VR graphics are better if you have the PS4 Pro.

Very fun, needs more games
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The experience when playing VR games (my favorite one is the Star Wars Battlefield VR X-Wing mission) is great, very immersive. There was definitely some nausea with some games, but that seems to have gotten better over time, but still not fully gone. It is also definitely more intense than regular game-play, meaning that you will probably play for shorter periods at a time. What is still missing is a really great game that carries the system. I am really hoping that there will be a full VR Star Wars game, basically building out the single X-Wing mission into a full game.
