Basically purchased to play Resident Evil, but found other games that were equally fun. Brings a totally different experience to gaming, hope more moves in that direction.

The PSVR is super cool and really well done. The VR games are immersive and beautiful, and you can even play all of your regular games with it on a giant virtual screen.

It makes me sick if I use it more than 1.5 hours but I love it. Just make sure to follow directions and take a break after and hour. I think it is a beautiful experience

VR is the future of some seriously fun gaming. If you own a PS4 this is a must have. Eventually everybody will have one so get into this early and show others the way.

Hi, I purchased 2 of the VR sets one for my self and my son to expirance VR Game Play together. The design is nice and somewhat comfortable to ware but during game play you will notice the following issues that I hope Sony will fix soon on a newer VR head set. When Reading the letters are blurry and hard to read. When playing a game the graphics are jumpy when moving your head and it's tracking Jumps or glitches. for the price I would have expected better results. I looked into the PS4 Pro but this is not an option for the Current VR head set as the newly designed PS4 Pro dose have double the TFLops but the CPU's are exactly the same memory is the same too the only advantage is the 1TB hd vrs the 500 Gb hd in the PS4 and the extra TFlops will not do anything for us VR Gamers as the graphics are handled by the VR Gear's glasses and interface so no benefits to upgrading. As for the game play when it's not taxing the graphic they are neat. when looking at items you can lean forward or move any direction to get closer or farther away from objects. I did notice that if you lean into the words they do become clear. Adjustments to the glasses are ok I wish we could do more for the focal points of our eyes to be able to make the images clear. if you go to redit.com they have an article on how to calibrate the VR glasses to a point making this a little more clear. I did find that calibrating the camera to you eyes helps with the VR experience for the head sets to. as for the Joint Game Play in VR it's fun my son and I play Drive Club together and have a blast with this. Other drawbacks are with the video play, We cant play our own 3d Content videos in the VR head set only in 2d Unlike with VRGear from Samsung we can add and play true 3d content in our VRGear using the MilkVR application and choosing our format that we would like to view our personally uploaded content to the device and see full 3D movies and watch true 360 movies too. We can watch videos with the Sony VR but only in 2d that you own. If you want the 3d you can only use the content that's out on the network. I found the videos to be laggy and not very clear even if you download the 4k videos they are sad. also the OLED lenses are not true 4k it splits the resolution between each eye. other then that this is a fun toy but need improvement. was it worth the 1300.00's for the two ? I have not played it long enough to say yes.

    Great Graphics, not sturdy enough

The graphics are really good. My son and nephew love it. It needs to be beefed up on the sturdy side, though. My son (10) was in a chair and twirled around, snapping the cable to the headset. I contacted Sony and found out the whole unit has to be replaced; there is no way to just replace or repair the cable. I wish the cable was plug-in or even better, the unit was wireless. That way, you wouldn't be tethered to the main unit by a relatively short cable (and of course, you wouldn't break a cable by twirling in a chair). It is out of warranty, so, Sony will fix it for $99. I will pay that rather than buy a whole new one. Overall, I recommend getting one at the price of $200 (they were that on Cyber Monday), but, realize it is a high tech, rather fragile piece of tech.

Picked this unit up to finally enter into the VR gaming market without breaking the bank. There are a few VR games on the market and I'm understanding that more are on the way. The unit only came with the headset and required cables. I wish the store would've had the bundle available as I purchased the camera, VR worlds game, and a protective case. I had to use my existing PS gold stereo headphones and PS3 move controllers. Try it out before you buy to ensure you can handle the potential motion sickness.

the PS VR is something else. I would give this a 5 star but there are just too many wires. Set up can take a little time connecting all the necessary cables. As far as the VR experience though, it is unmatched.

This isn't premium VR. It's also not smartphone VR. It's definitely somewhere in the middle. It's cheap enough and accessible enough for most people to just "plug and play", which is a good thing. After a few hours into Resident Evil 7, I decided it would be worth my time (and money) to give it a shot in VR, and I'm glad I did. VR actually improved the mechanics of the game, but this isn't a game review, it's a VR review. Let me address the "VR sickness" debate. I don't get motion sickness. I can read in moving cars, ride on boats, etc without getting queasy. The first time I used PlayStation VR, I played for more than 2 hours before I started to feel sick. The next night, less than an hour and I started to sweat and feel nauseated. I realized it only started to affect me if I had to keep taking the VR headset off and on (check text messages, finding food/drink). My recommendation, if you're going to play in VR, do your best to stay in VR. Anyways, on the technical side of things. It works well. The head tracking is accurate (though I'm sure that comes down to the game). My biggest complaint is probably the most frequent complaint, and that's the resolution of the screen inside the headset. While the jagged edges caused by low resolution, and the "muddy" textures can be noticeable, the bigger problem is the "screen door" effect that makes everything look a little dull and dingy, or as the name suggests, like you're looking at the world through a screen door. It's not a dealbreaker, but it does kind of cheapen the overall experience. Yes, there is a lack of quality content right now, with most "games" being glorified tech demos, but Resident Evil 7, though not perfect on VR, is a heck on an experience. There are also some games on the horizon that give me hope that PlayStation VR will be more than an expensive gimmick. VR isn't for everyone, and it's a hard recommendation, but if you have the means (and the stomach) I say go for it.

The PS VR is an amazing experience; the demo disc included gives you just a taste of the incredible experiences that are in store. Get PS VR worlds for the London Heist game because it is so immersive and the shark encounter will freak you out! Don't just buy any PS VR compatible game though as there are a few bad games that are terrible. Catlateral Damage is absolutely terrible and not worth your time or any amount of money. VEV is complete garbage and hardly a game or a VR experience! I recommend Batman VR and EVE Valkyrie since they truly bring you to another world!

Gaming in VR has been tremendously fun! And I'm glad Sony decided to develop this! There is a great lineup of games out too such as Barman VR, Thumper, The Star Wars Mission, Fruit Ninja, and many more that i could recommend. The light tracking is definitely a cheap way for a VR system, but i still feel Sony took that technology and did something great with it.

Overall the system is a lot of fun, but it has it's quarks which cause a headache, The VR works well, it's a ton of fun, and I wish it could process higher resolutions to mkae it worth it's money. If you have a PS4Pro + 4K TV + PSVR you're going to have to do some HDMI cable swapping to make use of that fancy TV and pro. It's too bad that the PSVR Breakout box doesn't support the HDR 4k video. NOT having to do this would make this a 5 star product, but sadly it doesn't.

I was an early adopter when it comes to VR technology, purchasing the original Samsung Galaxy VR for the Note 4. It is an amazing experience, but the interactivity of the PS4 VR system makes the experience a lot better. I highly recommend getting this system if you already have a PS4 as a relatively affordable way to get the VR experience in your home.
