Virtual Reality is here
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The next generation of gaming is here. I was reluctant when I first tried it and it was way beyond my expectations. I could not believe how it felt to play these games in a new way now. All types of games are different in the feel, the look, and the whole experience in general. I highly recommend for any hardcore gamer and playstation fan.

Virtually Perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was quite pleased with this item, i have never jumped due to jump-scares in video games but once you are immersed into a game it is second nature to jump at something that startles your because you feel like it is there with you. The Resolution of the screen and headset work well and graphics are not bad at all. I do find myself (And wife) constantly on the thing playing games now. Matter of fact most the family has tried it on Thanks Giving and just loved it. You can wear the headset for long hours without fatigue as it does not rest against the nose like some VR headsets out there. A friend of mine that tried the 2 other headsets out said this was more comfortable and didn't hurt his nose (if this helps) i also use a wireless headset with it (One cable less to deal with) and it works well and does fit over the band nicely. The demo disc is enough to get you immersed into the environments, but i would highly recommend downloading some games from the Playstation network (such as Rush of Blood, Resident Evil, etc.. i know not too kid friendly games) or VR Carnival, Robinson (more kid friendly) definitely a good purchase and we play with it daily still to this day.

Instant Vertigo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game play is so amazing! Realisitic 360° views. All Horror games are a must! Only complaints are the excess wires. The wire hanging from the headset is heavy and an annoyance.

You really need to get some VR in your life!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me be honest, I love PS VR! It's just amazing! Now, it's true that there's not a ton of games or big name stuff, but they're coming. In the mean time, there is still plenty of cool stuff to enjoy. Beyond the games and demos that are already available, other apps and media are on board with VR. For example, HuLu has a VR version of the app that allows you to select and watch your content in a virtual apartment or movie theater and have some interaction with the environment. Other apps like Littlstar and Within have their own unique immersive menus that are so much more than a list of choices on a black background. And the VR specific content is just incredible! Imagine watching nature shows, interviews, SNL sketches, even political rallies , and being able to turn around in your seat to see the audience behind you, look up and see the lighting above you; we're talking full 360 Degree immersion here, folks! VR is more than just gaming, it's a way of life. If you're on the fence, your best bet is to find someone with VR and try it. People can describe it all day long, but you just have to experience it for yourself to truly understand its awesome power.

Cool but pricey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up. Came with a demo disc although the games are just ok. Limited selection of games but I think more are coming. For the price should have included the camera.

The future!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought Resident Evil 7 and never played it until I bought my VR headset. It is one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. It is definitely the future of gaming, no matter what anyone says. Yes, there are a few games for it at the moment, but those games are amazing experiences. The future is bright

A great entry point for VR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Playstation VR is a great way for console owners to experience VR for a lesser price than PC-based alternatives like Oculus. This particular item does not include the camera or move controllers, but I had both of those previously, and it keeps the cost low. PSVR overall works well, and many of the current games do a great job of avoiding motion sickness. I would recommend Rush of Blood and Job Simulator as good starting points. The biggest way the current kit can be improved on is higher screen resolution, and Sony is already planning on adding that to the next revision of PSVR.

This is the future!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our first experience with the VR was amazing. When your body movements move you inside the VR you really feel like you are there. Games where you use the controllers to move does make use motion sick. Besides that, as the quality of games increases the experience can only get better. Best Buy in a long time!

Innovative but not for everyone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have the money and the space for it, the VR is truly a one of a kind experience. You feel as if you're placed in the game, 3D objects look like they're right next to you, and with proper headphones, you can really immerse yourself in the game. The headset also supports 3D Blu Rays if you have any and don't have a 3D TV, though it's only limited to one viewer. If you have the PS3 Move controllers and have the PS3 charging cable, you can sync them to use with the PS4 by plugging them into the console. However, it says on the box that it's NOT designed for children. It can make them and others feel dizzy. Objects can look blurry if your vision isn't perfect, and even though wearing glasses with the headset is recommended, it's not always comfortable. Although the technology is great, not all of the games designed for it are really worth it, serving better as great tech demos more than anything. But it comes with a demo disc and another can be downloaded for free from the PS Store. Sometimes the device glitches and goes black for a split second, which can be really distracting, and it's crashed more than a couple of times while playing some games. The VR headset isn't wireless, and comes with its own hardware unit it has to be plugged into. Some games require 360 degree motion, so make sure you have enough room. It's great if you can afford it and find games that suit you.

Hours of fun for the whole family
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PSVR is an amazing way to get the family playing and into virtual reality. Sure, it's no Oculus Rift or HTC Vibe (those are much higher resolution), but they also require a lot more time and effort for setting up and must be connected to a PC. Ths PSVR easily turns your PS4 into a VR capable gaming machine and the games are super fun and easy to get into. Highly recommended.

Wow! Definitely Fun!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this because we had a chance to demo it when Bestbuy had it in the stores back in August for promotional demos. The Headset is actually very comfortable and can be worn for long periods of time. The Oculus rest on your nose and cause a little discomfort, This is also a better picture than Oculus. All in All VR is getting better and better, but i feel that Sony did the best for price point, quality or build, and performance. Would definitely recommend you get this with the motion controllers, Headset & Motion Controller stand / charging base, AND at least VR Worlds (Download from Sony Store) as that will give you something fun to play until your game library grows. We purchased this along with about a 4-6 games from the Playstation store and it is a rush!. Get the Wireless heads phones, and put them on over the VR Head unit and voila (immersion) I would recommend this along with the Rush of Blood, VR Worlds, and Carnival VR. At least to keep the family entertained for a few days.

Fun...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is definitely fun to use but certain games (like Farpoint) will give me motion sickness. The headset is pretty comfortable too but I am waiting on more games. $500 is a lot for the amount of games thats available... PC headsets offer much more freedom and many more games for a lot less. I have heard that you could use this on a PC with some tune-ups... worth looking into.

Absolutely Incredible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Ps4 VR system is absolutely incredible. I can't remember the last time I had this much fun and such a sense of wonder with something. It really is immersing in the best way. There was some motion sickness for me at the beginning but you get over it after the first day or two.
