This product is not as good as the HTC Vive...however it is much more affordable and is easier to set up and use for the casual VR gamer. The screen door effect is hardly noticeable compared to the Gear VR. I would highly recommend this product if you are new to VR and even if you are not.

Awesome system for the price. You do need some room and it does take some getting used to.

The graphics could be better for the price, but overall the games , especially the fast paced ones, leave you feeling like you are in that world. I played the luge for ten minutes and every time I jumped a hill, my stomach dropped! So it's very realistic however I would love to be able to wear the headset without cleaning the lens every time. Otherwise, no complaints !

This is the most amazing video gaming experience I have had...maybe ever. The realism and immersion is unbelievable, and it can only get better from here! The goggles are comfortable to wear and have several adjustments, u can even wear glasses while wearing the mask if need be

I've been waiting for VR since I first saw the lawnmower man in 1992, since then we've had all sorts of devices that have tried and failed. Other than the non-console VR headsets that are also very good. This being the 1st console VR headset, this is by far the best representation of what VR will be in the future. All you need is a PS4 or higher console a compatible game and that's it. However as this is being a 1st gen product there are some issues. 1st: it's easy to fog up the lenses as there is no active venting system, to combat that I would suggest turning up the A/C or getting a fan. 2: I wish they would have implemented a camera so you didn't have to take off the headset to look for something. Other than that, the headset is light and comfortable and easy to adjust. Also i like the fact that you can also watch movies and TV shows with this and it just looks like you watching a TV show or movie in a theater by yourself.

For those seeking an entry into VR and have a PS4 counsels this is a no brainer. It's on par with other more expensive VR platforms such as the HTC Vive/ Oculus Rift. The actual headset is more comfortable than either of the other high end VR systems. The set-up is fairly simple, instructions are easy to follow and guide you set by step on the installation.

BEST VR TO HAVE! A MUST. A great game and a must have for any game collection!

I'll start out by saying that the Playstation VR does make you feel like you are immersed. It comes at a price though since the technology is still in the beginning stages. The resolution isn't high enough so things off in the distance are pixelated and the screen has a mild blur effect to it no matter where you look. Now again this is Virtual Reality so even though these downfalls exist the immersion factor is high so the negatives tend to fall to the wayside. The best games are the ones where everything is close to you, for instance walking down a short hall is phenomenal because you don't get that distant video pixelation. I do get sick sometimes when I play too much which many overcome with time, and or dramamine which I use. As for the tracking, it's good, not great, but good enough. Other VR Systems seem to have tracking spot on, the PSVR is decent with some hick-ups here and there. I wouldn't watch any movies or shows within it myself, the quality is just too low because I like a good screen for movies but that's okay because it is not made for that. This is an introduction into Virtual Reality and that is what I use it for, the immersion. Just don't get your expectations too high and you will be satisfied with your purchase.

My first impression of this Sony PlayStation VR its like a futuristic headset and when you try it it's like you are inside the game the first game that I tried the batman wow it's so realistic... you have to get the remote it's not the same without the remote .

I've used the Vive and the Rift before, and while they are a little higher performance, the PS4 VR is great, immersive, and has quite a few titles. I appreciate that it works with a PS4 rather than a high-end gaming computer, and that it's easy to set up.
