I bought this to replace another brand because the other brand bricked up after a system update. Knowing what I know now I should have purchased this in the first place, set up was a breeze and it works flawlessly, connecting to wifi was easy and I love all the apps it supports and they work great.

Although most of my viewing media is digital, I find that I've started to assemble a small, I'd say nostalgically based disk collection. A few DVDs but a few which are just new enough to be available in Blu-ray. I didn't have a Blu-ray capable optical drive hooked to our main TV so I needed to add one. After a bit of research I ended up getting the BDP-S3700, both to keep the cost at a minimum and for that sense of reliability with the Sony brand. So far it's worked quite well and I've gotten through all 3 Blu-ray movies. That's right, all 3 of them. I'll be using it for any disk media because it's quieter than the drive in the laptop connected to that TV. It's also compact so it fits nicely in the media cabinet. It's kind of a blue moon use item for me so I expect it'll last me quite some time.

Bought this compact blue ray player as a Christmas gift for my parents. Happy with it's simplicity and how user friendly it is . My parents aren't to good with electronics and even they are able to use this player with ease. Would recommend this for its size and simplicity plus you can't beat the price

My old unit is now not supported for streaming so got this to replace it. Setup took a bit of effort as it needed to down load updates before use. Logging in to my wifi was easy but it took a couple of tries before it actually install the download. After set up was complete unit works quite well

This Blu-ray player plays standard DVDs at extremely high quality on a high-definition TV. The built-in wi-fi allows access to streaming services, such as Netflix, without the need of a separate device, such as a Roku. It is a high quality Blu-ray/DVD player at a low price.

I love this. Very compact and stylish. The wireless feature is nice, however my router had to be moved downstairs into the telephone closet. Signal isn't as great as it used to be because of electrical interference. I had to purchase a range expander so I wouldn't drop out. Picture quality is great!

This was the best addition to my home theater system that I could have ever made. It is loaded with apps, easy to connect to my home network and small. It doesn't take up a lot of space. Since my TV and receiver are Sony I don't need all of the remotes. Plays Blu rays and DVDs.

Good price, easy setup. Connected easily to my existing wifi. The apps contained on the player are many--a bunch are useful. Glad that it had Amazon Prime (which my Apple TV does not). I was somewhat lured by the Playstation 4 feature, which I haven't tried yet. No reason to ever buy a non-bluRay player.

We picked this DVD for the quality and the size to install in our son's room. Having his TV wall mounted all we needed was a small shelf above, hooked it up and its perfect. Personally Sony is always reliable and lasts for a long time. Highly recommend, and again you can't beat the price!

Works great. Small compact size fits easily near TV. Turns regular TV into a Smart internet connected TV with its built in WI-Fi connection and preloaded Apps like Netflix and You Tube. Easy installation if you have an HDMI connector on TV or Amp/Stereo.

We needed a new dvd player and found this one for a decent price. We love that it can play both regular dvd's and blue ray dvd's. There are apps on this dvd player and we absolutely love it! We use amazon streaming all the time on this dvd player. We definitely recommend this dvd player.

This Sony Blu-ray player is great! Not only do the Blu-ray discs look wonderful, the upscaling on my newer DVDs looks excellent also . The built-in WiFi makes accessing Netflix and other streaming services a snap, and the TV's input source automatically switches to the player when I turn the player on, saving me a couple of steps in the process. Best picture and features in this modest price range. You won't be sorry.

Great purchase, I get everything I need and want plus more and for a great price and it is much more look appealing with the size instead of an Xbox. Remembers my internet connection, great picture, can hook up my laptop and very easy to operate all features.

Well Sony has done it again. If you want to buy a great Blu-ray player for a good price, this is the one. It has all the features you need, it's small and works great. The online features and streaming service are well put together and work flawlessly. Great product, very happy with it.

Great product for the price. Really compact so does not take up much space. Easy set up pretty straight forward. This would be a great gift for a movie lover...Add in a couple of blu ray dvd’s & some popcorn and its a winning gift idea!

This DVD player is awesome. It requires little set up a monkey could do and whalaaa! You have an endless amount of HD apps including Amazon Video and all DVDs, bluray or no play beautifully without any adjustments. Just plug it in with a nice HDMI cable and you are good to go.!!
