I got this unit to be able to get closed captioning while streaming works great good price plays Blu-rays quickly and clearly if you have a good hd tv that is not smart, mine is a 6 yr old higher end 60 in Sony this is the unit to buy small, easy to set up, no extra bells and whistles

This is so tiny, yet it does so many things! Great for watching Netflix and Youtube without having to hook up a computer with a HDMI cable, and the remote controls our tv power, input and volume nicely. And of course it plays our DVD's and Blu-Rays. Simple to use. Just what we wanted.

Worked with new uhd tv and had great picture. Easy to control and easy to connect to web.

Sony - Streaming Audio Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray is a nice size and is easy to use. Quality seems good so far. I would like to see more streaming options such as YouTube Television and such, but more than adequate for price.

Sony has the products you can trust. I've owned multiple Sony products, all of which have been excellent . Blu Ray is no exception. easy to use, quick start. Love all the preloaded apps.

Smaller & better than the first Blu-ray player we purchased. And a lot less expensive!

We use this as a DVD/Blu-ray player and it works perfect. It is a pretty small device and easy to fit in with your other electronics if you are tight on space. For quality and value, we are super happy with our purchase.

After comparing this Sony Model versus a Samsung one I'm glad we purchased it. This model is compact, was sinple to install and the universal remote made it easy to use because is replaced the original remote. What makes this a great blueray player is the additional apps that are incorporated into it such as Netflix. Now we don't need a laptop connected to the tv to enjoy watching all of our programs.

I decided to buy a new DVD player because I had an old surround sound system/DVD player and couldn't connect it back after renovations. Also, some of the speakers didn't work anymore and when playing a movie, it wasn't full screen (there was a border around the picture). I looked at reviews online beforehand but chose this one in the store. Set up was a breeze - just unpack the DVD player and outlet cord, plug the HDMI cord (sold separately) to the TV/DVD player and turn on to do the set up. It was ready in 10 minutes. I have an older flat screen TV that isn't a smart TV so this little DVD player is awesome. The DVD player has apps like YouTube, Pandora, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, etc. to stream music, videos, TV. I wish I could download more apps (maybe I can and I haven't figured out how) but this definitely improved my non smart TV. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I purchased this for my dad for Christmas! It's the perfect small size. We rented 12 DVD's/Blu-Rays during the holidays and I didn't have any problems with it. The main reason I purchased it was bc of the capability for him to watch Netflix. It made for th perfect gift!

This Sony DVD/streaming video player is flawless. Great playback on DVD's but most impressive in the simple set up of the streaming services which include Amazon, NetFlix and many more. I was a complete novice and was able to set up my streaming function in no time.

This was a gift for my mom. Easy to use and compact. Works great for Netflix too.

Works really well with my tv. Luv the preprogrammed apps. Makes streaming very easy.

I like the fact that there are apps with streaming capability but the interface is simple and you don't get lost in a maze of options. Startup is quick and video output quality is excellent. Wireless connection to the network works well between floors in our house.

The Sony blu-ray is a great device for streaming and watching blu-ray and or dvds.
