Setup was simple. Couldn't believe the price 59.99. Has all the popular apps. Netflix, Amazon, Youtube. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a basic blu-ray player and that is exactly what I got, the few extra features it has either don't work for me or were underwhelming and it has three big annoyances. The player is very quite. The selection of apps for this player is terrible, the few good ones are premium based, and the majority are for services/sites I've never heard of. The casting ability was going to be a nice bonus but it is incompatible with any of my many devices. It has the SideView app which works a little but most of the functionality of it was discontinued right after I bought the player so it lost any use for me. As for the annoyances, the biggest one is that to my knowledge you can't control the power saving "feature", i.e. you can't control when it turns itself off when not in operation, with many movies if I pause for too long the player will turn itself off, I think it is about 15 minutes, not very long if you pause to cook a meal, answer a call or use the restroom and then you have the time and hassle of waiting for it to turn back on and then trying to find where you left off if the movie doesn't support resuming. It doesn't turn off for all movies but probably 98% of the ones I've watched so far (80+). Another annoyance is that you can't do some things if the drive bay is open. The third big annoyance is that you do not have much control over what apps display on the home screen, the left side is populated by locked sponsored apps. If you are just looking for something to play movies well then this is a good buy but if you are looking for anything beyond that you should look for another player.

For the price, very satisfied. Has all the apps you could want. Built in WiFi for spare room was main option I was looking for.

Works great! We haven't had an issues when watching movies. Years ago when we purchased our 1st Sony bluray DVD player, we encountered issues. We haven't experienced it this time around. I plan to replace our 1st Sony bluray player with another one of these in the bear future. Great bluray player for movies. I haven't tried streaming any shows because it's connected to a smart TV.

This has been a very nice audio player. WI-FI and Streaming is very easy and has been nice to have this addition in the home. Some limitations in the on screen app for connecting to some services using the WI-FI. Overall its nice to have the Blu-ray function along with being able to play older dvd's , cd's also connecting your camera or media card to view pictures or videos.

Set up was easy. Works great. Quality is top notch. Price is more than reasonable.

I bought this item for our spare TV for our daughter to watch her movies. The DVD portion of this player works great! No issues with playback or quality. Remote is easy to follow, just make sure you know where it is, with its small size it can be misplaced easily. The wireless feature is great if you are not near a Ethernet connection. The smart features allowing access to Netflix & Hulu have saved me from buying another streaming device. All-in-all it has been great and has made a child happy!

Plays blu-ray and dvd's without issue. Connects to internet over wifi or ethernet. good price for the quality.

This isn't the fanciest device, but it works great. Easy setup, quality Netflix streaming, among other apps. Not 4k, which will be important soon, but if you don't have a 4k TV, this is a great choice!

I choose to go with this Blue Ray player after reading many reviews for several brands. This was the highest rated and longest lasting model and brand. I have had it for nearly 2 months with no issues.

We are regular Sony buyers. Needed a new blue-ray player and this one happened to be on sale. Compact size is a plus. Apps load slow, but maybe that was our internet that first night. Remote seems flimsy.

Easy set-up. Easy to use. Great picture. I actually accidentally order a regular DVD. Didn’t even notice the difference until I took it out of the box. Was easy to return. Went and got the Blue Ray Player I wanted. Thanks. Great customer service. I would gladly tell anyone that Best Buy is the Best.

The player does exactly what we wanted it to. We watch Blu-Ray discs when we watch movies, but we also use other apps. We connect to the family wi-fi to utilize those apps - Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime etc. It does all of that very well. My only issue is that it seems to take a long time to boot up, and populate all the icons, or register to the disc. Then when you navigate icon to icon it is always one click behind. You have to wait for it to catch up. Other than that, based on the price it does well.

Originally purchases this for use as a blu ray player, but it came with an added bonus of streaming player as well. Love the functionality of it all. Plays blu rays beautifully and smooth clear pictures. The streaming part is pretty wicked and awesome as well, makes my tv so upgraded. Easy installation. And the player itself is very sleek design and cute and decent sized. Don't have to spend big amount to get a new tv, instead this will transform my tv for the better. Love love love.

Solid player for the money. Great picture. Great sound, with surround available via lightpipe. The apps are good, too, but there are limited choices and you can't delete/manage the apps you don't want.

Very easy to set up and use with Netflix, Hulu, etc. Does not take up much room. Handle DVD's and blue rays equally well.
