Customer Ratings & Reviews

Easy set-up. Easy to use. Great picture. I actually accidentally order a regular DVD. Didn’t even notice the difference until I took it out of the box. Was easy to return. Went and got the Blue Ray Player I wanted. Thanks. Great customer service. I would gladly tell anyone that Best Buy is the Best.

It has a great picture and is easy to use. I have had no issues using the device connected to the network wirelessly; however, I mostly use this with a wired connection, which works flawlessly. The responsiveness is very good for a device of its class and the downloadable apps work very well. The only drawback is that some popular apps are not available (as of writing), such as HBO Go, Sling, FXNow, etc. It does support (as of writing) Amazon, Netflix, Pandora, and many others.

Yes, I’m partial to SONY products, and this disc player has not disappointed. Setup was super-easy connecting to WIFI, and streaming has no hesitation for products such as Netflix and HULU.

Very easy to set up and easy to use Has ability to stream many different apps Great price

We just needed something to play the occasional rental movie and this one is perfect. It's small and even comes with a Netflix button right on the remote to make movie watching even easier.

Easy to set up, good quality, good price. Would recommend for the cost

Weve owned this same model for two years now and like how fluently it goes through commands and prompts on different services. So we purchased two more for our kids rooms. Great product.

I needed a new BD player so I purchased this one. It met my expectations. It makes life so much easier when you purchase an item and don't have to take classes to use it. Plug and play!

This unit is small and easy to set up. The only issue I have is: It does not seem to decode the various audio codecs - DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Atmos, DTS-X, etc. I have many Sony bluray players and they have the same problem. I have set the audio to "bitstream" or "PCM" and I have it connected to an Onkyo 11.2 channel receiver that has the different settings when I play back a disc encoded, but it still only plays back in Dolby Surround. Anyone have any ideas?

This player is easy to set up out of the box. Make your settings and see if the compact remote can control your TV too (programming codes are limited.) Wi-Fi or wired internet is great for streaming. Netflix is a preset on the remote and you can add a second option. Coaxial audio output is the only digital audio output but HDMI pass thru is a simple work around as well.

I bought this to replace an old DVD/VCR player and it does a fine job not only playing DVDs, but it also was easy to connect to our home network for running other media. The menus are easy to understand and prompt you when needed. For the price, it was really worth it and I am pleased I went with this unit. I had originally planned on buying a cheaper version but am now glad I went the extra dollar for this one. I may now even purchase a second unit for the den.

Great quality. Easy to connect and operate. Wifi function is dependable and easy to set-up.

Super simple to install. Extremely easy to use. Great product with a reasonable price.

I personally own this player and purchased one for my 84 year old mother so she can watch Netflix, Amazon, etc., as well as watch her DVDs. Love that it's very simple for her to use.

Easy to setup and easy to use. Small and compact. Great picture!!!

High quality machine, easy to use. Priced very well and does the job it’s suppose to.

This is a great DVD player for the price. It is small enough to fit in any location and very easy to use!

This blu-ray player was great buy for the price. It is small so fit by tv discretely. Easy set up

Great for the price. Easy to use and very compact. Looks nice too

We were looking for an DVD player that wasn’t too expensive but had the quality of a high end. This dvd has been a perfect fit for our family and we have used it almost every night!
