Was looking to purchase a gift of a Blu-Ray player, but the Blue Shirt recommended this Sony Player. Nice not to have to switch to a different Netflix device, since this is built in to this Player. Haven't tried to control it from mobile device for remote control. Low cost solution to a streaming first world problem. Also bought a Gift Card.

Bought to stream netflix works great . I was afraid because it didn't get great reviews for that. No problems here.

This Sony player was very easy to setup, it has a faster response time when searching for apps and it’s Wi-Fi capability seems to hold on to the signal better. I have had no problem streaming movies. Got this item on Black Friday and it does what it needs it to do. The price is excellent for a Sony brand as well.

First off the size is nice and compact unlike many other DVD players. Only downside is the remote, but that is minor.

This BlueRay Player works exactly as described and is much more affrdable when compared to more expensive models.

I have a Sony DVD player and it works great. I needed a 2nd one so I went with a trusted brand. It is easy to set up.

Easy to set up and the image on the tv is wonderful. We had another Blu-ray different brand that broke but when we installed this one on the same tv, we got a better picture . We are very satisfied and we highly recommend this Blu-ray player.

Bought this Blu-ray player for my camp trailer and didn't need a lot of extra features. This is a small player so fits well in a small area. So far it has been great. It was easy to hook up. Loads the dvd's in a reasonable time. Haven't used the WiFi features yet. This is a good play for the price.

We purchased this blue ray player to take the place of the Xbox that our son took when he moved out. It’s very small so it doesn’t take up much room and it works very well. It’s easy to use and the menus are intuitive. The remote is easy to use as well. Also was inexpensive compared to the old player we had.

A great basic bluray player. A very small footprint on the TV cabinet, and is plenty good for our occasional use.

This is for my 70 year old dad so he could watch Blu-Rays and get Netflix...he LOVES it. So easy for him to use.

Took several tries to get the remote to recognize the update. Sony Support was not well trained and offered misinformation. Once installed correctly, the player works really well. R+and RW+ DVDs upconvert beautifully. No problem streaming NetFlix and Amazon Prime content. Blu-Rays play excellently on my Samsung Smart 1080 TV.

I bought this device to use mostly for Netflix and it performs very well. It comes on quickly and responds well.

Good picture and sound. The only bad thing is that the HDMI cable is not included so that an additional expense.
