product was easy to setup. basic system that is easy to use. menu's are simple to navigate. smart apps work well

I usually go for Samsung but they didn't have what I was looking for. Sony this far has impressed me. Pros: I can get Netflix, YouTube, Pandora, and Iheartradio. There are many other options if you are looking for access to your streaming services. The volume works great, you can turn on your tv with the remote for the bluray player, major plus for me. If I don't have to use two remotes that's a win! Overall quality of player is great. Cons: Can be slow at times to load Netflix. Sometimes disconnects from WiFi. Not major issues to deter from buying. Doesn't have Hulu.

First time to purchase a blue ray Wi-Fi unit and it works great and fits into the small space I have for it.

I was looking for a good blu-ray player at a reasonable price. And I found one. I hooked it up to my projector and the picture and sound were tremendous. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a great product without breaking the bank.

Got it as a gift for someone. Prolly decent; hard to screw up old tech.

Purchased this unit a few weeks back to replace a player from another company. first of all I was amazed at the small size of this model. It fits under my TV nicely and has exceptional features that my older, larger unit didn't have. Very happy with this purchase and I have plans to purchase another for our other TV.

Would have given it a 5 star but Had to return 1st unit I bought as it would not connect Otherwise easy to use

Great picture, easy to set up, and easy to use. The only thing that caught me off guard was there were no component video connections for external stereo equipment. Thankfully I discovered my prehistoric stereo receiver had an optical connection, so I was able to connect everything.

Needed a good streamer/Blue Ray/DVD for a non 4K (although very good) Sony XBR ...this fits the bill. Has the basic streaming apps, although would be good to have Google Play apps available (like I have on other Sony/Google partnered devices). Operation is sound and fairly snappy. Sound and Picture are great.

Bought this player for a family member and it was simple to set up and easy for them to learn how to use.

I read so much positive press on this unit it seemed too good to be true. Not so. This unit continues to perform in ways that a layperson like myself has trouble explaining. If you like specs read them and drool. Otherwise just throw anything at it and sit back to enjoy. Wow.

Sound quality good, easy to operate and well built. It's amazing how compact the machine is. I'm used to these machines to be big and bulky and this is compact and fits pretty well on a small shelf, under the TV and pretty much anywhere and it does not take away from the sound.

I purchased this player to use with a TV on my boat. It works perfectly to watch DVD's. I just have not been able to get the bluetooth operational. It is a situation with the signal in the marina that I am working out. Off season I can easily bring it home for a guest room TV because it is so compact.

Easy to hookup. Nice to have wi-fi so I don't need to run ethernet to it. Runs great and has a great picture. One of the things I need most was the digital audio outlet on the back. Without it I wouldn't be able to hook up my audio system.

This was an easy set up. Wireless to my modem all the apps at my fingertips good price great brand. Very small footprint size of the D TV box. Took 10 minutes to start watching my Netflix and Vudu apps. Going to get another one for the bedroom. Love this.

Sony is absolutely the most trusted product related to any and all AV components. This compact Sony Streaming/ Blu-Ray Player is the best example of Price and Quality meets the Consumer. Just an all around excellent purchase and the functionality is the Best .

A needed a Sony DVD/Blueray player to provide a quality output to her LCD screen. Dollars met functionality.

This little unit will do what you need it to do. Also, it has a much smaller footprint than my last one.

It works great and was so easy-to-use. Life is busy and this set up in minutes to my tv and the receiver.
