Product met all my expectations and more. It is compact and quality of pictures is outstanding.

For the first month maybe 2 months it worked great, then it started freezing. I thought it could be my internet connection since it was streaming Netflix but later on, it did the same with movie disc. The apps are mainly what I bought it for thought I could get around the smart TV idea but nope. So the bottom line is it does its job for the most part.

This is a really nice Blue Ray player. It small and doesn’t take up a lot of room. Works great

Reserached many units before deciding on this one. Chose this one because its Very easy to setup and it compact enough to fit in small places. . Required very little space. The player seems a little flimsy but for the eh cost it's ok.

It's a little slow loading the Smart Apps, but once they get going the picture is clear. However, all the apps included with the player is all you get. I tried researching how to download more, but there is no way I've found so far. What it comes with is what you get. I was totally blown away by the screen mirror imaging option, but I also noticed that it jumps and fps isn't very smooth. For example, I like watching anime, but since Crunchyroll does not come with the player I tried screen mirroring it from my phone. It was too jumpy to bear and I'll just stick to watching that stuff on my phone. Snapchatting is pretty fun tho, I made some gnarly Snap-ceptions (snapchats within snapchats). Oh and I figured out how to do Augmented Reality stuff on it, and that was really neat. Anyways, everything works great. As my first Blu-ray player, I must say I got a good one and wonder why I wasted my life waiting to get one until now.

Small footprint, super easy set up and performs well. I’ve been disappointed with Sony products in the past so was hesitant to buy this, but the price was right so I thought I’d give it a try. Very happy with this item!

I wanted a video player that also let me access Netflixs and Amazon Prime. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the remote provides one-button access to NetFlix and a second button that I can program, which I set to Prime. As for the blueray picture, it's excellent. A good value purchase.

Parents needed a bluray player and order this one. It covers their need to use DVDs as well.

I have never owned a bluray/dvd player like this. First of all, I have never owned a bluray dvd disc player with internet. You see, the picture quality is excellent which gives me great picture resolution for bluray and dvd discs. Secondly, when you turn it on, when you want to watch movies or to get on you tube, you just download them, and watch movies when ever you want. And also when you turn on the bluray dvd player automaticely goes to the hdmi port that is connected from your player to your tv, so that makes it easy to operate.. As well as downloading your favorite apps you like to watch movies and tv shows on(some of them for free)you want. I will keep this until it falls apart and buy another from bestbuy.

Good player, good interface for the streaming apps. It's pretty compact too, so that's nice.

This unit is easy to install and simple to use. Has all the features I need. Even a USB port!

I like having all the other apps in one easy to find and us . Like Netflix. Hulu and many more.

Great Blu-ray player that has many additional features. Comes preloaded with links to movie sites and has a button on the remote that can be set for your favorite, Wireless thru Wi-Fi connects quickly and smoothly.

DVD playback took longer than expected; buttons not super responsive. All other features great!

This is our second Sony Blue-ray player. We loved our first one so much that when we needed a second one for the bedroom to replace a DVD player we of course decided on another Sony. We can now get Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu or many other streaming video networks into the bedroom TV.

I bought this blu ray player for our theater room. It is hooked up to an HD projector. It was fairly simple to connect to the wifi and took several minutes to update. Has many of the popular apps and the blu Ray player had a great picture. A Best Buy value for the money for what I was looking for.

Easy to set up. And performs all claimed functions without issues. Some reviews said it would not turn off, I found that after pushing the off button on remote unit seems to not respond. It takes a short time to shut down. purchased on sale at Best Buy and price makes it even better .

nice, small, compact unit. easy setup and works nicely. sometimes takes a bit to fully boot up, but that's probably cable service issue. if you're looking to watch movies and don't need lots of extras (which one rarely uses) and/or want to stream, this is a great unit.

Can't beat the price and value for this Blu-ray player. Nice, compact size that works great.
