Bought this for my non-techy parents and they have no issues navigating through the different options. It is nice they can have a bluray player and streaming capabilities in one device.

This unit combines the blu-ray player and streaming wi-fi I was looking for in one unit. The quality of sony shines through with easy to operate remote, quality picture and responsive function. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to update their home electronic gear.

This unit works great, was easy to set up and has lots of preloaded apps. Only wish is that I had the Amazon music app on it. Not sure how to load that. Also, it has a USB connection to view photos. Didn't really work for music though, another bummer.

This was an excellent buy for $50. I was impressed by number of streaming options that are provided on the Sony network....Vudu, Crackle, Netflix, etc. The player offered smooth playback and I have not yet seen any flaws. I will buy another for my office. If you are looking for an inexpensive blu ray that works and offers the flexibility of streaming, look no further.

It works well, but it moves pretty slowly when I want to use Netflix or Hulu

I promised my self to never buy any samsung brand home entertainment system due to there engineering of software absolute after a few years of owning. This means that a tv or blueray player will one day stop working because it out of date and trying to update it will not fix it due to device no longer supported. All my Sony product still works like the day I bought it.

I recently upgraded all of my main entertainment center to 4K. My previous system went into my home gym since I generally use it for music, live sports or whatever show I'm binge watching. Old blu ray player was of a different brand that coincided with my tv and soundbar. It stopped reading discs and became and absolute pain. Especially when not accepting tv show discs after one episode. Upgraded to this Sony blu ray player and it has simplified the processed, condensed the space that the old one took up and is faster. Great, simple blu ray player. Would recommend to anyone not looking for bells and whistles, just something that efficiently plays blu ray movies as needed.

Bought this to replace an old dvd player in our family living room. Works great. It also works great if you don't have a smart tv, firestick or apple tv because you can connect it through wifi and use it to watch netflix.

It's simple and easy to use - does it's job. Would recommend for the price

Easy to get install. Programming to wireless internet is not difficult.
