I was hesitant when I saw how small this player was and the price was low enough that I thought "OK it's a temporary replacement". I was wrong this is no junk! Great player and remote, paired easily with my Sony TV and functions flawlessly.

Excellent price for this BluRay player. Very easy to set up and extremely compact. The streaming feature is easy to set up and utilize the Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and Vudu apps. Overall a terrific deal from Best Buy

After having excellent experience with 2 previous Sony Blu-Ray players, purchasing another one was a no-brainer. It is easy to setup with good performance, well-organized on-screen format and useful remote control.

This is a really good blue ray player, I will totally recommend it.

I was able to set this up in about two minutes and we were able to watch movies immediately. The picture looks great, it works great, and the kids can work it themselves. So happy with our purchase.

We purchased this player to replace our old Insignia BR player. Much sharper picture than the old one and very happy with it so far. Might be a 4+ star unit but it is new and for the price I think that 5 stars is appropriate.

This Blu-ray is super easy to use. I recommend it for kids and seniors.

I purchased this Sony DVD player to replace a Samsung player that failed after four months. I'd give it 5 stars, except that it would not connect through my router to the internet. I had to do some on-line searching before I found that it was a problem with the default DNS server address. I changed the DNS server in my router to Google, and it now works perfectly,

Works beautifully on our newer, HD tv's but is not designed for our flat screen that's 10 years old. Make sure your tv is at most 5 years old before buying. The ease-of-use is really good and the remote responds well to your touch.

plugged in and started right up. set up quickly on wifi and was able to use apps almost right away. still a little clunky using the remote but menu is somewhat good. would be nice to plug in a usb keyboard or mouse to make it faster.

i replaced older unit with this one as it plays both blue ray or regular dvd's and the definition is definately better. i like it for the small size as it doesn't take up a lot of room but is loaded with features for the price too.

Good quality for the price. Has good WiFi and good streaming options.

I have limited space so I purchased an Insignia 22" Television. It had no Wifi so I purchased this Sony not only as a DVD player but as a Wifi addition to the television. My only complaint is it comes with preloaded apps that the user cannot delete. For example, "Crackle" is no longer viable yet the app is still here and cannot be removed. There are many other apps that I have absolutely no use for, yet they're not removable. I guess I'm old fashioned in that I want control over anything I purchase, I don't want "it" to control me. Otherwise it's a nice compact unit and setting up the Wifi was easy enough. I've played a few DVD's and Blu-ray discs and it works fine.

Got a good deal Black Friday purchasing this DVD player. I like that it has built in wifi features because we're able to plug this into an older tv. It's easy to use. Just don't loose the remote or you won't be able to play any movies or anything.
