Small and compact

I like that it has built in wifi features because we're able to plug this into an older tv. It's easy to use. Just don't loose the remote or you won't be able to play any movies or anything.

Good Player for right price

Works great. Has many apps like, Netflix, Hulu, Sling media, which allows you to do more than just watch discs.

Great Little Blu Ray

It goes beyond because it has a streaming hub as well. I had a little difficulty opening the tray. It needed help.

Great inexpensive blue-ray player from Sony

And am very happy with the functions and the quality. Don’t have a 4K TV set so this Sony Blue-ray player is perfect for my needs.

Good Value, But Not Perfect

The wi-fi capability and streaming applications kind of make 5-disk shuffle play obsolete. I find, however, that I can only stream music from a network drive if the player is the only device that's active on the wireless network. Even internet browsing with a laptop seems to steal enough bandwidth to cause dropouts. It may be that 802-11n just doesn't cut it. Streaming applications don't seem to suffer the same problem; I'm streaming Pandora while writing this with no issues. In addition, streamed video doesn't work at all. I suppose a high performance wireless network would fix the problem, but it doesn't work well with mine. All-in-all, a good value for less than $100. In a hard-wired ethernet installation it would probably get a 5.

I have three of these in my home and they work faultlessly. Just plug in and go. Very reasonably priced compared to others with the same features.

Love it!

I can play blu ray disks, I can play dvd's, I can watch Hulu or Netlifx, and there's lots of other features with it as well. Spending a little bit extra for a wifi enabled blu ray player was well worth it!
