I needed a DVD player and availability to net-flix for a seldom used guest room which has a older 'dumb' TV. Not wanting to run a cat 5 cable the WI-FI capability did the trick and being a blue ray player is also a bonus. Internet hookup was quick and easy.

I bought my first of these players last Black Friday. Didn’t need it until a few months ago. It’s excellent. Bought one for a friend with dementia in a nursing home and another for a buddie in. Group home. They are easy to use and the performance is great.

The Sony BDS-S3700 works well as a blu-ray player, but also has a number of streaming services available through Wi-Fi. We bought it for both its disc capability and YouTube, one of the services available. For what it does, and for what it costs, it does well. It's not 4K, but we don't have a 4K TV, so that's not an issue for us. Some older reviews elsewhere fault it for a "child-lock" failure that causes the unit to freeze. That appears to have been resolved by a firmware download. We now have two of these units and have no problems.

Hooked it up to a small monitor as a replacement for my daughter's outdated portable Blu-ray player that could not be updated to play new Blu-ray discs with the updated security protections. This setup works well on a stand next to her recliner chair.

This Machine is small but delivers a lot. I love being able to add new services and love to be able to go to it to watch programs I missed. And it's an extra bonus to watch my movies and CDs I already own. Takes up very little room and was an easy set up.

Perfect for disc play, and WiFi streaming. Plenty of features without the huge price tag. Another quality Sony product.

I really enjoy this blu ray player because of its media function. It's nice that I can watch movies I have an Amazon on this and find new apps too. The picture is good and it was an easy set up thru wireless internet. Just the right blu player for me.

We got this for our daughter for Christmas. She had to go through the hoops with her old one, hooked up to her old TV. Now, she got a new Smart TV, plugged in the Blu-ray player and it's up and running. No pushing a bunch of different switches and channels just to watch a DVD. This particular model was inexpensive, has built-in wi-fi and shows a wonderful picture. I can't show a picture of it because she lives in another state, but believe me, looks good, performance great!

After two 4K-upscaling machines performed poorly (freezing, locking up, etc.) I bought this less expensive Blu-ray player. Streaming is smooth, Blu-ray discs boot-up quickly, and picture quality is excellent. Very pleased with this purchase.

This Blu-ray player was purchased to replace an elderly (15+ years old) Sony Blu-ray that was just very, very slow. I had already put one of these in my A-V system in my living room and bought this one to put in the system in my den. It works great and has the added bonus of Wi-Fi for when I decide to do a streaming service. And the price (especially on sale) was terrific. The playback resolution is great as is the sound quality. I heartily recommend this unit for anyone who doesn't need all the "bells and whistles" of a more expensive unit.

The product is small and easy to use. The price is good as well. The only thing I'm complaining is the remote control option is a bit slow to response.

It just does what I need. The remote is awful and small though. But for the price you get internet connectivity to boot. Nice apps etc. easy to set up. It’s all good. I’m just biding my time and using this as a bridge until I’m launch into 4K.

Its easy to set it up and didnt get any issues. Netflix works fine and wifi connection no issue. Quality of the video and sound is good. Remote control is simple and easy access. Definitely recommend this item to a friend and its worth it.

Bought this during a black Friday deal for around $40, I would never pay the full price for it but I have been wanting something to watch old DVDs on for forever. Setup was extremely simple and seems to be working fine since then.

Love this small Blu-Ray player. Exactly met my needs for a steaming device and Blu-ray/DVD player...and at a fantastic price. Most Blu-Rays are over $100, but this was well below that. Works great, and I have no complaints.

Lightweight, small, wifi friendly and loaded with Apps for under one hundred dollars. Remote also works with my Sony TV. No problems at all!

This Sony Blu-ray Player produces amazing graphics. With the built-in Wi-Fi is a big plus which allows you update your player and gives you access to others apps. The small size is great for keeping your space tidy.

After waiting several years I finally invested in a blu ray player, an this unit truly exceeded my expectations. built in wifi lan, all the apps, outstanding. easy set up. I would recommend this purchase to a friend.

This Blue-ray player by Sony is a replacement of our current Blue-ray player that we had for several years. Although this wasn't in stock at the time of our visit, the salesperson was able to order for us and have it sent directly to our home at no charge. Easy to set up and works well off of our Samsung Smart TV. We use it for streaming off Netflix and You-tube as well as playing DVDs. Great price - works well.

This product was purchased to replace another that was not working properly. This one has been fine since the first time it was turned on. It comes on quickly and provides a good image on the screen. So far, I have no complaints and only praise. It was a good buy and BestBuy had it in supply. It has also been useful for playing some music on CD. Its small size is an advantage as well.
