This DVD player is easy to use - put in a DVD, it starts and is recognized by the TV which changes to DVD mode. It is small. The remote makes it easy to play, pause, move around the DVD or stop it.

You get a lot on this for the money. Has plenty of apps already loaded on it and it's very easy to set up and use. Only complaint is I was hoping the watch ESPN app was on it. I'm either not seeing it or not seeing how to download.

Great price for this Blu-ray player and I would recommend it.

Love this smart blu ray player. I don't have a smart tv so this helps with that. It replaces my Apple TV and has more to choose from than the Apple TV. Apple TV doesn't have amazon prime and this blu ray player does! Great price !

I wanted a very simple and easy to use DVD player for my smart TV and old collection of DVDs. This is perfect. It also comes with lots of other features - which is amazing considering it was under $70!

A very nice high quality DVD and Blu-ray player. Wi-Fi and built in apps work great. Consistent with Sony's traditional high quality and dependability. Over time I have had other name brand disk players fail on me, but never a Sony.

Bought this one because it appeared easy to install. As an older non-geek it was very easy to install and use, is very dependable and durable and shows DVD's in excellent HD detail and color. Instructions were easy to follow.

Sony put together a fabulous Blu-ray player at a really good value! Loaded with WiFi, great set up menu and easy touch controls! Picture quality is awesome and truely a pleasure when matched with an older Sony Bravia flatscreen television!

Player has an excellent picture. I have it hooked up to a Sony TV and when I install the DVD, the input automatically goes to the DVD player. Very slick. Saves time. Wi Fi access is good for updates and other options installed on player.

Great cheap blu ray player that is very easy to setup to wifi

This little machine rocks! Of course it does a great job at playing blu-ray discs but the built in apps including streaming services is a nice bonus. Highly Recommended!

So the Blu-ray functionality is fantastic. Works exactly as you’d expect. The streaming features are ok, but are a bit frustrating. For example, with Netflix we had a Roku device where you could see all the movies and scan through them easily. With this device, you only see specific rows, and there are big banners across the top of the screen that take up half the screen real estate. This means you have half a screen to view rather than a whole screen. Also, after a movies conclusion, the credits get really small, and pushed into the upper left corner and a suggested movie comes up next. If you don’t press stop, or exit the movie, the suggest movie just starts playing. This is a bit of an annoyance if you Like to watch credits, or if the movie has continued scenes during credit as many movies do these days. I do wish the player had HDMI pass through capability, but for the price point, I can see why it doesn’t. Overall it’s a great Blu-ray player, and the the primary reason we bought it.
