Got this to play our legacy library of DVDs. It's compact and easy to use, and so far the user interface seems straightforward and hassle-free. Setup was simple and quick.

This DvD player was perfect for my need. I just wanted a good player with no bells and whistles. It works well in my bedroom. The picture is great! It’s very easy to use.

The Sony Blu Ray Player meets my needs and functions well.

It was simple to connect to the T.V. and the Wi-Fi in my home. I was able to link to the streaming services with ease. The only negative, is that Sony does not supply HDMI cable or other cables to hook up to any other equipment.

I'm not great with installing electronics, but this was so easy to install and I have everything I need on there. The picture is excellent! Streaming is easy to get to, all in all a very good product for the money!

I love this player. I don't have a smart tv in my bedroom and this wifi player allows me access to use Netflix, Hulu, Pandora and many other apps without having to purchase a new tv. Excellent picture and sound. Easy to set up.

The player was on sale around $60 and it was the only one with built in WiFi available at the price. Great buy at that price. Even scratched Blurays play fine and the DVDs are also upscaled well enough to display details.

So the Blu-ray functionality is fantastic. Works exactly as you’d expect. The streaming features are ok, but are a bit frustrating. For example, with Netflix we had a Roku device where you could see all the movies and scan through them easily. With this device, you only see specific rows, and there are big banners across the top of the screen that take up half the screen real estate. This means you have half a screen to view rather than a whole screen. Also, after a movies conclusion, the credits get really small, and pushed into the upper left corner and a suggested movie comes up next. If you don’t press stop, or exit the movie, the suggest movie just starts playing. This is a bit of an annoyance if you Like to watch credits, or if the movie has continued scenes during credit as many movies do these days. I do wish the player had HDMI pass through capability, but for the price point, I can see why it doesn’t. Overall it’s a great Blu-ray player, and the the primary reason we bought it.

It’s so nice to have this DVD player with my not so Smart TV. Now I have my prime and Netflix that I can watch in my bedroom where as I couldn’t before. A good product and way to make your dumb TV smart.
