very good suits my needs perfectly plays very sharp and clear

It’s so nice to have this DVD player with my not so Smart TV. Now I have my prime and Netflix that I can watch in my bedroom where as I couldn’t before. A good product and way to make your dumb TV smart.

So the Blu-ray functionality is fantastic. Works exactly as you’d expect. The streaming features are ok, but are a bit frustrating. For example, with Netflix we had a Roku device where you could see all the movies and scan through them easily. With this device, you only see specific rows, and there are big banners across the top of the screen that take up half the screen real estate. This means you have half a screen to view rather than a whole screen. Also, after a movies conclusion, the credits get really small, and pushed into the upper left corner and a suggested movie comes up next. If you don’t press stop, or exit the movie, the suggest movie just starts playing. This is a bit of an annoyance if you Like to watch credits, or if the movie has continued scenes during credit as many movies do these days. I do wish the player had HDMI pass through capability, but for the price point, I can see why it doesn’t. Overall it’s a great Blu-ray player, and the the primary reason we bought it.

Purchased a different well-known brand at a similar price, but it failed to function the second time I tried to use it. Returned unit for refund (thanks Best Buy) and purchased the Sony model. It has worked so well I bought a second one to install in our RV which came with DVD-only capable player. Great product, well worth the money.

This is a really good player for the money. Very affordable.

This player replaced a Samsung because this one was easier to setup and it works great. I Mainly use it to stream Netflix and prime videos in my guest room and office without paying for a cable or smart tv

Product does just what was needed, and at a great price!

I was looking to purchase a Sony Blu-Ray DVD Player and found this unit at Best Buy. The price was right, so I bought it. It was very easy to set up and it works great. This was a very good purchase!

I actually have 2 of these players. One is on a Sony TV and the other is on a LG. Both players work very well. The remote is compact but very functional with a Netflix dedicated button. I like the Sony Blu-rays because they load relatively fast and perform well. These units have the basic HDMI output and one optical digital output.

Bought for a motor home. Works great. WiFi works great.

This Blu-ray player was very easy to set up, including linking it to my home network. I don’t have a smart TV but this gives me access to my Smart TV Apps on my dumb TV. LOVE this.

We don’t care about 4K Ultra. We wanted a good option for streaming and playing out already existing collection of movies. It’s perfect for our needs. And, of course, set up is insanely easy.

We have been pleased with the streaming feature on this!
