Need to add stream capability to my sone room also needs Blu-ray /dvd player . Sony fit the bill. Work great no issues easy to set up .pic quality is awesome .. another great Sony product.

My friends Blu-ray player broke so I bought this one since its WiFi connected and it has the app for Netflix and prime built in since he doesn't have a smart TV,very easy to hook up.

Purchased as my old DVD player died. I liked the idea of being able to also replace my Roku4. Setup very easy. DVD playback and controls great. Media Streaming was not smooth. Finding channels was not as straightforward as expected. After I had it set up, I could play shows easy enough, but then would start to time out, or say it wasn't available. My other connected devices had no issue on the same WIFI network, and when I plugged my Roku4 back in, same channels and playback worked as expected. So, DVD, as expected. Disappointed with the Streaming Media portion.

BD Player was easy to set up. It has a WIFI interface which allows it to update firmware, software, channels, etc. It takes any TV and turns it into and Smart TV (you can stream HULU, NETFLIX, AMAZON PRIME.. etc etc)

We own four of these players and all work as expected.

Works and does what we needed. Simple and user friendly.

This is a great product. Easy to use and at a good price.

Love the blue ray it plays great it play Netflix great

We bought a BDP-S3700 about 2 1/2 years ago and recently the Blu-Ray portion of the player became unreliable, only playing some of my Blu-Ray videos. Worked fine for some Blu-Ray and all DVD's. I was going to update the firmware, but it was up-to-date. The Blu-Ray discs that I was trying to play had played previously with no problems. Time for a new player. So why buy another of the same model when the other one only lasted 2 1/2 years? Well, the features on the BDP-S3700 matched our needs, and I feel that the laser in the player was probably the same as in other models. The player is pretty reasonable in price, so I'll just plan on getting a new one every 3 years or so. It works great for our needs!

Easy set up and can be either wired or WiFi connected.

My wife wanted a compact DVR player for our exercise room to rock to her dance exercise tutorials. The Sony Blu-ray player does the trick at a very affordable price.

I love the picture quality. It up scales my DVDs very nicely, and plays Blu-rays beautifully. Unfortunately, that's where my satisfaction ends. My previous Sony DVD player was more comprehensive than this new Blu-ray player. There is no Menu button to bypass the trailers and adds at the beginning of movies. I have to press the Next Chapter button for each new trailer, etc. Then it takes about 30 additional seconds to access the movie from the TV screen because of the initializing that is done each time. I can bypass the initializing process, but it says that the power consumption will increase when the unit is off. Another peeve is the lack of being able to enlarge the picture to read the credits easier. (I have a 28" TV.) My old player would go to 2x and 4x. This does nothing. Another extreme frustration is that the player and TV completely turns off if I pause the picture and go to the kitchen to fix something quick to eat. It has no screen-saver sleep mode. I have to start up the TV again, and go through about 30 seconds of reconnecting everything before the movie starts again. With my old unit, I just clicked Play twice and it came back on. It also doesn't have the ability to start a movie up where you left off the time before, if you take the disc out of the player. It goes back to the beginning. My old Sony player would remember where you stopped, even days later. Then lastly, it seems to have difficulty, once in awhile, simply turning off. I'm glad it shows a Power On light, but it sometimes takes several tries to get it off. This all adds up to dissatisfaction.

This beauty makes it so easy to play my bluray/dvds.

This dvd player is about as simply and easy to connect to wifi, etc...as you could hope for. Has all the basic functionality you need, along with the essential apps: Netflix, YouTube, etc...

We liked it so much we bought two. Very easy to use.

This product worked As described. I would recommend.
