||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like it so far, it has a lot of good apps, but I have only used the Amazon one, it can be a little slow, so you need a little patience. But overall I am happy with my purchase especially since i got it on sale.

Great price nice item once you set it up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice blue ray player, great price but the instructions to set it up is not worth the paper it's written on. Had to call Sony and the emailed me the proper way to set the unit up. Even with the new instructions you still had to play with it to get it running

Good quality but dosen't upscale
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is great and easy to use, the only reason I did not give it a 5 is it does not upscale. The TV we bought does so it is not really an issue. Bought 2 for my mother-in-law and she has had no issues yet

Adds many options in addition to Bluray
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried to play one Bluray but it started skipping and locking after about 45 minutes even though the disc looked flawless. Another regular dvd (and this is a cheap dvd) locks the player and I have to disconnect and reconnect power so I can eject it. All my other dvds play fine. It upscales to 1080 and I can't really see the difference between bluray and an upscaled regular dvd. I don't own bluray dvds and have no intention of purchasing them anyway. I bought this player for the smart features. My wife was really skeptical about this but she is really enjoying Amazon Prime and the other options which come with this player. So I can say that this is a very good player for standard dvds and the smart features are a great entry into internet programming.
