This Sony turntable allowed me to break out all my OLD albums, so that's really been cool. I have not tried the USB part of it yet. The volume level is Low compared to a CD, but the sound is still pretty decent.

Easy setup! Purchased for my mother as an affordable way for her to play her old albums. With a quick audio connection conversion, I used her auxiliary function on her Bose Wave radio. Her albums sound great. The USB connection to transfer to digital files is a nice touch!

You can go wrong with this item, for the price it plays great sound from my system.

Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase. Hardware-wise this thing is great. Software-wise is adequate. It works for the most part, but of the vinyl albums I've ripped so far, every one, execept a 12 inch single required a lot of manual work to make into MP3's. Many times it does not catch the breaks between songs which leads to a lot of manual editing to get all the tracks. The software is not hard to use but the interface takes some getting used to. Once you learn it, it really isn't a problem. So far I've ripped about 12 LPs to MP3 and have been very happy with the results. If you don't mind a little bit of non-obvious learning curve, this product works just fine. Audio results (ripped MP3s from vinyl) are actually much better than I expected.

I was in need of a good turntable that was easy to operate and not over priced. the player was easy to remove from the shipping carton and easy to put into operation. I attached it to my laptop with good sound. If I had to do it again, this is the way I would go.

This turntable sounds great, and you don't need phono jack on your reciever, it has a built in amp.

I got this record player for Christmas and have only used it once so far. I have to figure out how to get the volume louder while playing it through my PC Desktop. Otherwise I will just get a portable speaker, or hook it up to my surround system. I've got options. From the one time I used it, the sound was crystal clear and excellent. You do have to follow the directions and assemble the unit by putting the belts on so the unit will work, didn't expect that but it was easy for the most part. Haven't listened to records in probably 30 years now. Never thought I would ever get back into Vinyl but I have as a collector, basically looking for rare soundtracks never before released on CD, Cassette, or Digitally..So it works out pretty well..wish the LP's were not quite so expensive but at this point what isn't??

Great product for the money. Obviously this isn't an expensive high end turntable. But it's plug and play. You do have to put the belt o which if you're capable of tiring your own shoes, shouldn't be a problem.
