The turntable sounds good with my system despite the scatches on my records from the seventies. It has auto on and off and can be set to play individual songs when I set it where I want it. This keeps me from scratching the records. The RCA connection wires are only 3 feet long and hardwired to the turntable. I had to purchase a pair of RCA adaptors to extend the length of the wire to reach my receiver 6 feet away. Since the Sony turntable was on sale for $79.00 it didn't bother me. I'm happy with my new record player.

This is a great turntable for the price. I like the fact that this unit also comes with the usb cable so you can download your vinyl to an external source. Great buy!

Not only the best turntable for less than $100, but probably best for less than $200. Researched heavily and glad I chose this model. Reminds me of my childhood and all of the vinyl I wish I still had. Look forward to every chance I get to spin my newly acquired vinyl.

Excellent sound quality, easy to use and comes with all the necessary wiring to hookup to speakers as needed. I would definitely recommend.

This was a Christmas for my granddaughter. She really liked it, but I have not talked to about it since was able to use it, so I don't know how it works or sounds.

Bought this for my 88 year old father-in-law. We hooked it up to a Bose SoundTouch Radio. It sounds great and most importantly, VERY easy for him to use!

This was a gift for my son. He set it up very easily, hooked it up to his Bose speakers, and it sounds awesome. He absolutely loves it!

The Sony USB output turntable allowed me to convert many of my vinyl records to digital format. It has a basic belt drive mechanism and has a satisfactory phono cartridge (but not swappable). I'm happy with its performance. However, I was careless in not noting that the turntable came with a Windows-only version of digitizing software and a comparison with Amazon showed that the software effectively doubled the price of the combination. My bad but it left a sour taste in my mouth about the purchase. I will certainly be more careful about these software/hardware combos in the future. I wound up purchasing an additional Mac based digitizing software which allowed the conversion of the analog signal to computer files.

Finally bought a new turntable in over 30 years. Great price and quality. Pulled out the old albums and enjoyed the sound when I was a kid.

It does the job. Runs quiet, precise placement of the stylus for both 45 and 33 records. Removable plastic cover.

Excellent replacement for my music room after my 40 year old JVC died. Easy to set up and download and a great price.

as of this date it works very well, have not loaded cd to record after everything is organized and separated into R&B and Jazz I will start to record and hopefully everything will work great as well.

This was a nice upgrade for me. The sound quality is excellent. Easy set up. I definitely would recommend this to others.

It's not 1970's quality workmanship, but it's got great sound and it does a great job digitizing records.
