Gave this to my son for Christmas to replace the junky Crosley units we'd replaced more than once under warranty. He was thrilled. Has them connected to some of the Insignia Bluetooth speakers and the sound is great. Sony quality. Decent price. You can't go wrong.

Great starter. Not mich to adjust and easy to set up. I can see outgrowing this if I move to a higher audio system and changing the needle, but great to get back into vinyl.

Like how the needle is placed and removed automatically. Nice compact unit with cover. Wish that the rca cord wasn't built into the player. Had to buy an adapter and longer chord.

This turntable is great, it actually moves its arm on and off the record & turns itself off. Many of the new ones do not & it is very inconvenient to keep changing. The sound is great! Enjoy those way-back memories! Sony has never let me down!

Just what I was looking for! Great turntable at a very reasonable price. Love that I can just hit a button and the needle is in place without fear of scratching my vintage vinyl. Perfect for anyone just wanting to enjoy great music.

Bought this for my boyfriend who has an extensive album collection that he hasn't heard in years! Surprise!!! He hasn't played a CD since we brought this home! He's concerned about the durability over time.. but we shall see how that plays out! Loves the dust cover as an extra precaution. Loves the fact that he can play "true vinyl" again. "Nothing like playing an album"

Still playing with it. The speed of the songs are faster than what they should be. No directions on how to slow it down let alone setting it up.

Good as Expected Hardware - not surprising from Sony Bad Software - didn't expect that from Sony. I thought they were better than that. The turntable does what you would expect, turns the record at a regulated rate, or as regulated as I can detect. The case and buttons have a cheap and plastic sound and feel. They are plastic, but some things feel more plastic(y) than others. The HUGE disappointment was the software. It only comes with an LE PC version, nothing for MAC users. So I pulled the old PC laptop out of the closet, loaded the software, and well it's cheap too. You can "buy" better PC software, and the MAC version of the software, however, it is just as pricy than better options at full retail. Buy it for the turntable, and just plan to be disappointed by the software and throw the disc away.

Simple to use. The software that came with it looks intimidating, but is very simple to use. Only record one album at a time, and then go in to label the songs. I didn't and wound up with a hundred songs that all showed they wereon the same album.

Bought the turntable to convert old vinyls to electronic format.

Vinyl is THE way that music is meant to be heard. This is the second time that I have purchased this turntable. If you are purchasing a turntable for the first time, or a new one, you can’t lose with this one. For the record, it’s GREAT!

Sony software provided is not a full version......

Bought this turntable for my teenager. Plugged directly in with cable connected to turntable to my Sony rack system purchased from Best Buy in 1994! Great sound and great price for a starter! Have not tried to convert with software yet.

Good quality, easy to use, no complaints. Gave my bargain priced Ion turntable to my son and am happy with this upgrade. I wish, though, there was a stacking feature (like on the old players) that let you have another record ready to drop down and play when the current one is finished.

I would highly recommend this to all my family and friends

Gave to my girlfriend for Christmas. She was very happy with it.

The set up for this turntable could have been explained better in the setup manual. There is a switch on the back that changes the input that caused a few hours of frustration. Customers need to know that an amplifier is required that you may or not already have. Our other systems were not compatible. Once the amplifier, a sound bar, was connected and the switch was put in the correct position, the turntable worked well.
