My classic albums sound great using this Sony turntable, even when connected to a 45 year old receiver and speakers--just like the good old days back in college.

good sound and reliable performance, needs powerful AMP to get best sound.

Good overall turntable. Cables too short forcing me to buy a coupler to join to better cables connecting to receiver.

Found a stack of my old lps and my 30 year old Toshiba didn't work without a preamp. The Sony works fine and was cheap.

I only gave it 4 stars because the cord to hook up stereo is too short. The stereo is a great one! Dont hesitate!!

Nice turntable for the price. Easy setup. Really sensible to vibrations records will skip when you walk through the room.

I bought this baby on a Black Friday special for $69.99. Great deal. I was looking at a quality turntable that would be easy for my wife and I to use, and have quality features. I read a review on here where a user measured the needle weight at 4.5 grams, which is ideal. That, and the ability to connect to my soundbar (with a set of male/male RCA adapters) and the auto start/stop feature made this a no brainer. Also, you can upgrade the needle when you wear out the original! I would recommend this unit at the original price. Sony's reputation for quality is not by accident.
