This is a great value for the money. I was looking for a turntable for a while and after reading the review decided to purchase it. So far so good. Great sound, easy to operate. Great entry level turntable if you want to get into vinyls.

I bought this turntable to replace one that wasn't playing correctly. After hooking the unit up, it had the sound quality that I usually expect with a turntable. I especially like the fully automatic feature since the turntable that I had been using didn't have any of those features. Overall, a pretty decent turntable.

Bought this as a Christmas gift. The recipient told me he did not read the set up instructions, yet was able to properly connect it to his system. He was home alone and rocked out to his 80s vinyl. He hadn't play these records for 30+ years, but he said they sounded great. He's keeping this gift.

This is my second turntable I purchases to transfer my vinyls to CDs. the first one I purchased, the sound quality was horrible so I returned it. This Sony has great sound quality. I am a novice at editing music so it took a while to figure out how do to the tracks, etc. The directions are a little hard to understand, but I did call customer service and they answered a basic question. I would recommend this to a friend.

Very easy to setup, although instructions to assemble the turn table platter are a but ambiguous, it worked fine. Plugged right into a shelf boom box, playing records in minutes without a tuner/entertainment system. Haven't recorded records just yet, but I do know that the software can be tricky, so if you intend on doing it, this turntable and included software will do it, just be patient. Sound quality is very good, even into the boom box system.

I am an old school music lover with 100's of albums. I bought this so I could start enjoying them again. I was very pleased that for the money this turntable turned out to be perfect for what I bought it for. I did have to buy some plug adaptors to get this to work with computer speakers, but other than that the quality is great. Definitely worth the money spent.

I have a hard time trying to get gifts for my husband, he has a huge collection of records and I thought this could be a perfect fit for him. Just the fact that he can listen to some music that is not available on line its a plus, he likes the sound and has taught our toddler to like the process of choosing a record and put it on the turntable to listen music.

Easy to use and set up and the sound is amazing. The price was great.

This turntable has a built in amplifier so the sound is great through our sound system. We replaced a turntable that couldn't be heard unless sound was over level 25. Plays both 33 and 45's. We can finally play our records again. Great sound for the price!

Our old turntable had given up and I could not get parts to repair it. This one has been a great way to listen to records that are not available on CD. The ability to have them loaded to the computer, and on to a portable device, has let us listen to some great tunes on the road.

Great turntable for the money. Easy set up and great sound.

My circa 1981 $400 Denon direct drive turntable gave up the ghost 5-10 years ago, leaving me without a way to play my classic album collection from the 70s and 80s. When Best Buy ran these for half price on Black Friday, I bought one for myself AND my son. Great deal for $65!

I'm thrilled to find a record player to enjoy my vinyl record classics and even better, there is a USB port to record onto a flash drive and to downlioad and share for the next generation to appreciate. I meeting of the minds to bridge the generations.

i love this turntable, it makes life much easer with the start, stop, up/down buttons. It also returns the arm and stops the turntable when it reaches the end of the record. I fell that the records get less scratched with features that this turntable provided.

You can pay 2 or 3 times more for a turntable. But, unless you have expensive speakers with a powerful amp, and excellent hearing, you won't be able to tell the difference. Plays classical piano LP's with no evidence of wow or flutter. Has built in pre-amp that can be switched on or off making it compatible with any system.

The set up was pretty straight forward. This is a belt dive unit and while I have always had direct drive turntables, that have been heavier and felt more substantial, this unit sounds great and the stylus arm was adjusted perfectly. Typically I had to install the needle ( stylus) cartridge and balance the counter weights to get the turntable arm to play & sound right. This unit was setup and adjusted in about 5 minutes and ready to play. I was surprised at the great sound aided by he built in preamp. I haven't used the USB connection or software that was included so far.

We bought this item as an open box item. It was complete and had never been used. This is a good well built turntable for the price. We were looking for a Sony turntable to replace the one I purchased in 1984. I am hoping this will last at least 1/2 as long.

After 30 plus years of letting my old vinyl set in boxes I finally bought this turntable, this unit pays great and it let just enough crackle and hiss in to let you know what you're listening to.
