I was so surprised when my grandson wanted a turntable for his birthday. Best Buy was my first stop to see what was available and when I saw the SONY turntable, the purchase was wrapped up. I've purchased many SONY products over the years and with Best Buy's back-up warranty, I knew he would be covered.

I "loaned" my old, high quality turntable to a family member, and needed a replacement. This has been more than sufficient, and the stylus arm is very easy to use, keeping me from dropping the needle and scratching my collection

This is a good entry level turntable. It's fully automatic which I love automatic is belt drive. Gave 4 starts because replaceable parts automatics the stylus or needle for this player can be hard to come by, other than that this is a good turntable.

I bought this record player because I was trying to find a budget record player. After the purchase we went through the instructions which were easy to follow and understand. Hooked it up to our speakers and amp and was amazed with the quality of the music. Good choice with buying this unit

There’s not much to say about this turntable except that it works. I have a lot of records which I have been storing for a while but I was able to buy this as a display unit and it works just fine. I am very happy with my purchase.

I was looking for a turntable to listen to my old vinyls. Looked up online to find ome but I didn't have to search more than bestbuy.com to get the best deal around: Sony USB turntable. Specs: Auto arm positioning, 2 speed, USB connectivity. Bonus software that lets you mp3 your vinyls. Get one!

Works fine overall. Looks are just ok. Built-in preamp may be weak, since the volume coming out of it is very low when connected to my speakers. I actually like the software that came with it to convert records to mp3s.

I bought this turntable expecting there to be a phono pre amp built in but there isn't. This means that if you record via USB the levels are extremely low. The software included with it won't normalize levels to make the MP3s to a level they can be listened to. I had to use a 3rd party software to achieve that. You may also have to invest in a hardware solution for this problem. But don't expect to connect this turntable to your computer and allow you to make good recordings of your existing LPs.

I had to buy a new turntable as my old one was not compliant with my new receiver. The new receiver did not have built in phono amp. Change the switch on this turn table and you can use with either type of receiver/amplifier.

I can only say that I was not surprised one way or another. the product functions As Advertised. Sound quality seems to have more to do with the Speakers than the Receiver or turntable. I see no reason to buy a more expensive T.T.

my current receiver did not have phone inputs so I had to buy a phone amplifier. But when I bought this turntable I discovered it had a built in amplifier, to accommodate the receivers like mine, and I was able to return the $50 amplifier. Sweet.

This turntable has stereo jacks for conventional analog output. A switch allows for either connecting to phono jacks (conventional method) or to aux jacks by using a pre-amp internal to turntable. This all worked fine. However I purchased the unit for the usb interface. I found that I could only get the usb to work when using the supplied software. But even then I found the volume to very low compared to other audio clips played back on my computer. Got no useful support from Sony and found other people had reported same problem. Debated returning but decided to keep since I got a good sale price from Best buy.

I have had this player for two months and I haven't had a single issue. I use it at least once everyday. The automatic play is very nice. Simple and reliable.

I bought this as birthday gift for a friend. I've never owned one before to look if it has built in speaker so on her birthday we couldn't use it right away. But when plugged to a speaker it sound very nice and the turntable is easy to use.

I wanted to see the turntable physically. But you would not let me see an unboxed turntable. I wanted to walk out! I did walkout. But my daughter really wanted the turntable. So we went back and purchased the turntable.

Belt driven, inexpensive turntable that is automatic. Have not had any issues with it. Nice platter. Looks kind of cheap and it is, but it will suffice.

I like the quality of the player. My only concern is that at the end of each side of the LP, I experience a scratching sound before the stylus returns.

I got this turntable for a great price as an open box item. The belt was off when I got it, so I had to do a little work to get it going. But it works great, and I'm listening to my collection again.
