High end photograph, needs upgrades, such as new photo cartridge and removal of preamp. Definitely worth the money.

The Sony phonograph was easy to set up. It took about 15 min and I was playing records from the 50's, 60's and 70's. I am really enjoying this purchase.

for $70.00 it served all of my audio needs. simple turntable to operate and good workmanship throughout.

Hooked up to average receiver this turntable puts out good sound. Have not tried USB yet but will in the future.

This was a Christmas gift for my son. I had bought this item for my other son a few years ago and they both love this turntable.

I like the fact that it has a USB output that you can interface directly with a computer.

Usually you can fix skips easily by applying light pressure over a record groove about 1-3 times. Not with this turntable! It actually created even more skips. The arm and stylus is way too sensitive and flimsy. I had a cheapo 25 bucks record player that played many records flawlessly, this Sony one? It skips even on brand new records. I've changed the stylus after having this turntable for only three months & have to constantly clean it, for after playing like four records, you get a staticy sound. Oh, and if you wanted to do DJ scratching with This thing? Forget it! The belt on the drive slips off even pushing the platter backwards even once! This is absolute junk for a brand name. I wanted to get a more high end record player with a replaceable belt drive, thinking I would have a quality, long lasting turntable I could remedy by replacing belts after much play rather than burning through $25-50 turntables every few years, but this turntable was an absolute poor investment!

No longer do my records lie dormant, gathering dust! This turntable is a fine value, offering excellent sound quality at a very reasonable cost.

This was purchased as a birthday gift and the item was just what the person asked for. Item is very dependable.

I wanted a basic turntable to play old albums. This was a good choice. The price was right. The setup was easy. Built-in preamp. Good purchase.

I had thought this purchase, a sony open box usb turntable, a great deal. But, I was shocked that the turntable did not even spin! The only function that worked was the tone arm would raise up, but that was all. I was very disappointed that not even the least check was performed before putting this device on sale.
