    Great turn table overall

Overall, I'm very happy with this turntable. I had been using an old Califone for years and finally made the decision to upgrade. I bought this one partly because it's one of the most reasonably priced vinyl players on the market that also allows transfer of vinyl to MP3 format. The one thing I will say, though, is that transferring music from vinyl to MP3 takes patience - you'll need to splice your own music into the individual tracks and then label the songs / albums. This means that transferring a single album takes some time - first with letting the whole record play through and record and secondly accurately saving your track list (unless you're okay with having just 'side a' and 'side b' as the two tracks for every cd). The music does sound great, though, both on vinyl and the MP3 transfer when it's completed.

I have a much better turntable for my prize vinyl. However every now and then I find some vinyl that might be a bit noisy. I tend to want to have something to play it on to lower the risk of damage. However the sound is ok. And it is great for someone new to vinyl. This has been tried and true as this same design has been used by a number of other manufacturers. I also like being able to record some of my older vinyl to CD.

Does what it is supposed to do. Good basic turntable for someone who is just starting out their vinyl collection or wants to play those old LP's that my be a little scratched or beat up. Not for the true audiophile.

Bought it for my daughter. She likes the sound although I just connect it to a computer speaker. I am sure the sound will be even better if a better quality speaker or amplifier is used.

One the few Vinyl records that I have, the sound quality is good. It is not AMAZING, but I wouldn't expect an inexpensive turntable to be so. I have not tried the recording feature and do not intend to.

I've only used it a handful of times, but so far, it's been a pretty solid record player. The sound is great in my opinion. For the casual vinyl record fan/collector, this is a good buy! It has the option to connect to a laptop/PC, and includes a CD with the software. I haven't tried that yet. Looks like a higher end component too. Very attractive on the shelf.

Guess we were feeling a bit nostalgic when we purchased this turn table and we're so glad we did. It's great to be able to play old records through our current home stereo and theater system.

Product was reasonably priced and now has great sound. When first used fidelity was poor, but checking reviews on line suggested the pick up needle may have come loose in shipping. Reset the needle and I am extremely happy with the unit.

I was referred to this turntable by a friend and made purchase. I really enjoy listening to my old vinyl, And being able to transfer to my computer for playing wherever I go. I have some that have never been put to CD. Hooking up the turntable was easy, working its controls was also easy. It produces a very good sound and was a perfect fit for my needs

Bought this turntable on sale at BB for $79.95. Easy setup: you just have to put the drive belt onto the drive pulley, connect the turntable to your audio receiver (or not, if you don't want to do so, and just use its built-in amplifier and connect it directly to speakers). Very good sound quality, and an inexpensive, easy way to get into (or back into) vinyl. You can upgrade the stylus, but not the cartridge (it is built in to the tonearm). Nicely designed, and looks attractive with my stereo setup.

My first one so my sample size is non-existent. But, I am really pleased with this item. Easy to use, very straight forward, and it provides the right amount of interaction with my music that I was looking for.

I got this for my wife for Christmas because she missed having a record player in the house and had a bunch of albums and nothing to play it on. I forgot how much I appreciate the sound of music played from Vinyl and this Sony record player does a great job and is very easy to use with the ability to just plug in the USB cable into your receiver. Also came with software to convert albums to MP3 s

This is a great gift for anyone who requires something simple to get into records. It will need some sort of pre alplifier or receiver. Works great for the price!

It took some additional trips to the store to get the right cords to make this work with the existing stereo but once we could get it connected it fits our college dorm room needs.

I brought it home and, right out of the box, it hooked up to my old stereo system in a snap. I placed my favorite 78RPM recording on the turntable and it performed flawlessly. I couldn't be happier with the component.
