I brought it home and, right out of the box, it hooked up to my old stereo system in a snap. I placed my favorite 78RPM recording on the turntable and it performed flawlessly. I couldn't be happier with the component.

Great gift for wife and great quality HOWEVER Best Buy spoiled the surprise on Christmas Eve by sending an email about great items to go with recent purchase of the turntable. If this is a gift purchase from another place

My daughter wanted to hear some of my old LP's I purchased this as a basic turntable and it works great. It fit our budget and the set up was simple. I am running it through my amp for the TV surround sound and didn't need to buy additional speakers or amp.

Ive been wanting a new turntable for my old Yamaha amp I got .So far works flawlessly nice push button start button its just real easy to operate and works great in any good stereo system very happy with this buy.

I had been looking for a player to use at home for some time. I basically limited it to all in one separate players, but the sound quality wasn't there. This was a simple one cord plug into my system and it works great!

I saw this on the discount isle while shopping My Best Buy Store and bought it on impulse, thinking I could finally convert My collection of many, many Vinyl LP Records to digital format and storage! It turns out to be one of the best investments I've made since I began collecting Vinyl Records. I've also bought a couple of 25 inch replacement belts and stylus needles to keep it running for Many, Many Moon's!

PRO's - Easy to setup and connect. Con's - Audio is a little low on Phono, if switched to amplified mode its a bit distorted. All in all its a good player for the price.

I specifically asked the sales associate for "a record player for a 15 year old girl who was just getting into vinyl". Wasn't advised that an amplifier and speakers were needed in order to use it. Luckily my husband has an amplifier hooked to our TV and we were able to try it out and the quality is great but she wanted it in her room so now instead of a $99 gift I have to buy an amplifier and speakers to go with it. I wasn't happy that more information wasn't given at the time of purchase.

We have plenty of vinyl that we have not been able to listen to for years. We now can play those cherished albums again. I did not notice it is only a 2 speed turntable.

I purchased the turntable to replace a 20+ years old. It works great playing the old vinyl LPs I have. I have not tried to use the software yet to do any converting.

This turntable is good for anyone except perhaps a very serious audiophile. Price is reasonable, product was delivered promptly and in good condition, set-up and connection to my older Bose AM/FM/CD system was easy, and it's great to hear my old LPs with better sound quality than I had when they were new. My turntable is only a couple weeks old, so I can't speak to it's durability, but I expect years of use with perhaps just a belt replacement occasionally.

I didn't want to get rid of all my old records so I hunted around until I found this turntable. It's perfect to hook up to an entertainment system. It's a good price for a Sony. Thanks for still making them!

I had to replace my original turntable on my 1990's Sony stack system. Hooked in perfect! Works great on all my records and I can't wait to start loading them onto my computer.

The weight of the turntable makes this product far superior to any that we have purchased recently. The sound is fantastic with no skips or wobbles.

Bought this to convert vinyl to digital. Direct connection to PC with USB cable is a plus. It works well but the included Sony Audio software does a terrible job of splitting the tracks accurately. You have to manually choose separation points in order to split into individual songs. If the software would have worked better I would have given 5 stars.

Inexpensive way to add a turntable to your home audio system to experience classic records again. Sound is really good for the price.

This turntable made a great additional to our entertainment system. We can now listen to our old albums (again) from the 1960s & 1970s. It was easy to set-up and connect to our current system.
