The cool thing about this headphone is that you can adjust the noise canceling levels. It’s adaptive noise canceling is really awesome It has 30 h of battery life. Sounds are more clear compared to the Bose quiet comfort and it has a lot of cool features.

Airplane noise? no problem. Train noise? no sweat. Sweaty ears? yea... about that...

I really want to give this headset a better review. It has some really nice features and when noise cancelling is working, it is GREAT! And that's where the problem is -- if used just for noise cancelling, it turns itself off after 5 minutes, EVERY 5 minutes. Searching online, the "solution" is to always have it connected to bluetooth OR have a headphone plug plugged into it. LAME! While the ability to access ambient noise without taking off the headset will be missed, it was exchanged for a Bose.

I purchased these after having the original 1000X. I went to these not expecting a great deal of improvement but enough to trade them out. Just like with the originals, I can turn these on and hear nothing around me once music is playing. My mom can be yelling to me from 10 feet away, and I won't know she's there unless I look up from my computer. I do typically use these with the cable rather than bluetooth, and they have a fantastic sound quality. Recently, I decided to upgrade my music by going from Spotify to Tidal and purchasing a Dragonfly Red USB DAC. The music quality went from fantastic to downright amazing. I do know that there are better headphones out there, but these are a nice pair to have without spending a fortune on studio headphones. Overall, I feel like I would want a tad more bass, but they do a nice job of balancing the highs with the lows.

Great headphones very comfy, also if you plan on using these to block heavy sound they are the best you can get with the quality of sound they provide I work in a place full of servers that blast fans 24/7 and barely ever hear them with these on.

Unfortunately,I lost my Bose 35 during a business trip. Although I was very satisfied with them I told myself if something ever happened I would try the Sony 1000XM2. The Sony headphones are all that and then some! Talking on the phone in the airport on the Bose headphones were impossible due to them picking up all the background noises. Not an issue for the Sony headphones. They performed flawlessly. I purchase headphones primarily for the noise cancellation features. Again the Sony product was better. Unfortunately, the headphones timeout after 5 minutes and the only way to override the setting is to have them wired during flight. I returned them for a refund and will get another pair of Bose 35 until Sony fixes the timeout issue. Otherwise, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy the 1000XM2. I truly believe they are the better overall headphones.

After testing these against the bose qc35, I chose them for their ambient sound feature and looks. My only complaint is the slight hiss when noise cancelling is on.

I've been using these headphones for two years now. The sound quality is amazing. Battery life lasts me a week (listening a few hours each day). Super easy to use and super convenient. I highly recommend.

These headphones. Work very well. I like them better than the bose 35s. Only con is raising or lowering the volume on the headphones themselve takes to many swips
