Have been taking care of my elderly father who is hard of hearing. Bought these headphones and now he can hear the TV and I can not harm my hearing due to having the TV so loud. Have been using for couple months now and they are working fine.

Bought these so my girlfriend could watch tv while I slept. Easy to set up. Comfortable. Pretty good sound quality. No complaints but I'm not an audiofile.

I set up bike in front to the TV for the winter. I can watch TV, cycling videos or just rock out to tunes without worrying about interrupting my husbands conference calls as he works from home.

Purchased to isolate noise from a theater sound system in next room. Work well for the purpose but the ear cushions are a little warm for wearing more than an hour at a time. Work best if there is a clear line of sight between the charging stand and the headphones.

I read a few reviews on similar headphones available at my local BestBuy and I have to say I'm glad I chose these Sony headphones. I originally went in thinking I would be buying the less expensive brand, Insignia or something, but I opted for these because they had a few more features. The volume levels are great! And the battery life holds true. My only gripe is they can get a tad staticky (it's not that loud though) when the battery starts to get too low, but I guess that is a good indication for you to know when to throw them in the charger. Happy buyer!

This is a good listening device. I purchased it for my husband who is a little hard of hearing so the TV does not have to be so loud. The only con for this headphones is that the piece that fits on top of your head is not as secure as you would think it should be.

My husband is 88 years old and was having a hard time hearing the news and commentary on his favorite TV sports programs. The Twins and Vikings game are a very special time in his day. Now he can hear every thing said. He loves his new ears.

I purchased these headphones for my elderly father, because he was having trouble hearing the television. The first time he used them, he could hear the differences, since he has not been able to hear the television in about five years. These headphones are very easy to use and are a great quality for the price.

Bought these for my husband for a Christmas gift. He loves them. Keeps the background noise completely out, ie...loud children! He wasn't able to hook them up without cable though. Not sure if he was missing something there. Otherwise great quality for the price

I bought the headphones for my boyfriend. We watch different TV programs and listen to different music. Although we have 2 TVs and Steve has most of his music on MP3 player, the situation wasn't ideal. Now, with the headphones we can enjoy our TV and music preferences without interfering with the other person.

My mother has hearing problems and we have tried several different tv headphones. In the past they have hurt her ears so she quit using them. With these headphones, she hears the music and the speaking so clearly I thought she was going to burst with excitement. What a joy seeing her enjoy tv again.

My hearing isn't as good as it used to be, so I have a tendency to turn the volume on the TV up a little higher than I used to, which causes problems for the wife when she is trying to sleep. These Sony wireless headphones are perfect because I can turn the sound on the TV completely off and still get crisp, clear sound from my favorite shows without disturbing anyone else. I'd give them 5 stars except for the fact that they are a little heavy and the controls are hard to find without first taking the headphones off. Overall, though, a great product.

My wife bought these so I could lay in bed in the mornings and watch TV and not bother her while she is sleeping. She told the store assistant exactly what she wanted to do and they pointed her to these headphones. However, they didn't tell her she had to have one of the more modern TV's with a specific headphone jack to be used in the manner in which we need. The headphone jack mutes the TV speakers when the headphones are plugged in. However our TV's (which are only a couple years old) do not have the headphone jack. We can get the headphones to work using the RCA plug's, but they do not mute the TV. We will be returning the headphones - at least until we need to upgrade the TV in the bedroom.....

Like many baby boomers, my mid-range hearing is not as good as it once was. The headphones have made a world of difference in being able to hear and understand what is being said in several favorite TV shows that feature women as the main character. Easy to hook up and comfortable to wear for an hour or two.

This was bought so that when I'm asleep and he's still watching TV, I don't get woke up by the TV! A must buy if you are having the same problem. It also works great for those times when he has difficulty hearing the TV, he can wear them and I don't get blasted out of the room watching the same program.

Helps me compensate for my hearing loss without disturbing others. I'm able to watch TV with the family again and have the volume I need to hear most of the lines some whispers still get by. Some distortion at max volume. A good purchase for my use.

Purchased this for my 94 year old grandma. She is hard of hearing & doesn't like to wear hearing aids. These headphones allow her to hear the tv programming without cranking up the television volume, as she doesn't want to disturb her neighbors (apartment living). Set them up for her, easy peasy!

My previous headphones died and needed some wireless headphones to watch TV with my wife. We are both hard of hearing and these headphones work very well. We both can hear all the conversations and background sounds in the movies we watch. The headphones also work well listening to music on line.

Works very well. My only issue is I wish it had multiple outputs for various products. For example, I would love to hook it up to the TV, Cable Box, Tivo and game console simultaneously. Speaking of game consoles...it does not connect to a PS3. So sad...

FINALLY!!!!! This product has changed our lives!!! I'm not exaggerating, my husband is hard of hearing and when we watched T.V. we had to listen to it all the way up and even then he could barely hear. Now we can watch tv together without me having a splitting headache, and he can actually hear what is going on!! No more questions during commercials!!! Very easy setup, and reasonably priced. AWESOME!!
