Can hear everything I watch without having to turn up the volume. Can watch TV while muted to everyone else or with volume on and others watching with you. Great when kids are doing homework or late night while everyone else is sleeping

Highly recommended as the headphones work with any sound system, tv, cell phone,etc. Great solution if you do not have Bluetooth capability. Sound is clear and movies sound great.

Allows free roaming up to one hundred feet from transmitter thereby eliminating need to stay within sight of the transmitter. The quality of sound is better than trying to hear the direct broadcast.

These were a Christmas present to my mom. She has a hard time hearing the TV at low volume. These are not too heavy and sound quality is excellent. She's very happy with these.

We've enjoyed an earlier version of this headphone for many years now and they still work great! We just wanted to update. These headphones offer the same great sound we are used to and basically perform the same. There are however a few drawbacks from the earlier model, the most notable is the battery which can no longer be changed out by you. Sony stated an electronic repair shop could do it but when I checked with my local one the repairman checked with 4 of his suppliers and they can not get the part as Sony will not sell it to them. The other alternative is to send it to an authorized Sony repair center, which naturally is not in my area. When adding up the cost of sending it there and back plus the $72.50 they charge just to look at it, you might as well throw the headphones away because those costs exceed the purchase price! This change by Sony is ridiculous for the consumer. Our previous pair only required us changing 2 rechargeable batteries and they were back up and running. Sony needs to address this.

This works very well on the regular TV viewing for my husband who is hard of hearing. Unfortunately it does not have the same effect with DVDs or Blueray discs. It was very user friendly as well.

I have hearing loss ringing etc. these head phones let me hear the voices without turning the sound way up. great product 'clear' sound without any disturbing crackling noises.

These are wonderful! My hard hearing father lives these! I can now watch television with him thanks to these! Before the volume would be too loud and now he can hear the program at his level and I can watch at a normal comfortable level.

My husband frequently watches TV late at night now he can watch quietly and not disturb the house. These are great, good sound, easy setup.

We purchased these headphones for my elderly mother. She is very pleased with the sound quality. It took a little time to connect them to her tv and her components, but overall she is very satisfied.

I was wanting someway to easily hear the TV without having to turn the sound up. My TV is in a cabinet and the speakers are in the rear so the volume had to be turned up to high to hear dialog. These work great and you can easily understand the dialog without turning up the volume and interfering with other people. Perfect for apartment living. They are a little bulky but comfortable without having something inside your ears.

These are great headphones, they are worth the money. I have been looking for ones like this for a while. Sound improves whenever you switch from tv to them. I would recommend these to anybody.

Good sound but they are a little large for smaller heads. The ear cover could be a little smaller but overall a good product for the price if you're not looking to spend a lot of money.

The Sony earphones are a great addition to my sound system. I can enjoy my TV programs and music station in wonderful and enjoyable sound. The auto adjust tuning is amazing. Good price and a great product.

Two sets of headphones were purchased for our parents who have trouble hearing the TV. The sound is so clear and adjustable. You can leave the room and hear everything through these headphones. A great purchase and well liked.
