I had the old Sony model and it quite working. This works better, as it does have a strap that turns it off and on. You use a switch on the head set. Less intrusive to your skalp.

They do what they're supposed to do. The range is limited but the only drawback is the headphones are bulky and not bluetooth.

These headphones are great for listening to a movie while running on a treadmill. They provide clear sound and allow someone to exercise while the other residents are sleeping.

I purchased these headphones because my wife works from home. I try to keep the noise down while she is working. I can watch tv and have near surround sound with these phones.

This is a good way to listen to TV without disturbing others, or for someone who is a little hearing impaired, via radio frequency (RF), which in my opinion is superior to blue tooth technology. The sound quality is good and there are no wires to get tangled or trip over, and the range is greater than the length of typical headphone wires.

We couldn't live without the headphones for my husband, he has to have the tv on all night and so he can listen with the head phones and I can turn the volume all the way down so the rest of us can sleep. And they are comfortable too, he sleeps with them all every night listening to his many episodes of married with children :) lol!! If you have someone who has to hear the TV all night these headphones are just what you need!!

Awesome product, I was in the market and decided to go with a trusted brand. I wasn't disappointed. I fits great, nice sound, even without the audio on it keeps out a lot of ambient noise. I have to say that although the range is significant, I have had occasions where I was in bed less that 15ft away from the baseand there was a slight hiss

These work as designed but they are just to big. Returned but would recommend if you like big.

got these so i can hear the TV and block out all the ambient noise. they work great nd i am hearing things like the rain and traffic that i haven't heard for a long time.

If you need your own volume control while watching TV these earphones are a blessing. ( More to your spouse etc. or anyone watching with you)

Bought these for my dad who doesn't hear well. With these my mom can listen to the tv at a reasonable volume and my dad can wear these and hear what is going on on the tv.

The Sony headphones will sound fuzzy if you turn the volume up on the headphones. I can hear the fuzzyness of static from the transmittal from the base station to the headphones. They sound good if the volume is medium but if you're expecting a full surround experience these ain't it. Good stereo separation though, they do the job more than adequately.

I purchased these headphones for a quick fix just to have audio not using tv volume. Turned out to be a good buy for the decent price.

Phones do a super job of reception and are comfortable, long lasting.and affordable

I purchased this for my mother for her to use with her entertainment center. Sound quality is very good and it is intuitive enough for her(non tech oriented) to use.

These headphones are well worth the money! My husband can actually walk on the porch and throughout the house and still be able to use the headphones!!

Great earphones for my dad so mom can sleep and he can hear his programs as loud as he wants. Great quality and distance!

These are the best, especially for working out on my treadmill while catching up on my television programs and without disturbing other family members in another room.
