The connection to the tv was easy and straight forward. The headset has a good range and doesn't loose connection anywhere in the appartment. I bought headset for my 79 year old mom.

Bought one pair for my mother so she can watch TV after my dad goes to bed without disturbing him. Bought a second pair for myself so I can turn the volume up loud enough without blasting my wife out of the room. They also cover up most household noises that would distract me from my shows. These have excellent sound quality. If your getting any kind of static at all, just push the auto tune button on the right earphone and it becomes crystal clear. Only problem I have with these headphones is that they connect to RCA outputs. The only problem with that is my new TV has no RCA outputs so I had to connect to my cable box. Now if I watch a dvd I have to connect to the dvd player. These will also connect to the headphone jack on my TV, but that shuts down the speakers on the TV. These need more inputs/types of inputs.
