Great system all around. Even better than the NES Classic Edition and easier to get too (in my opinion)! However it can be a little tricky being able to get it right away due to low stock and high demand. At least Nintendo will continue the stock of the Super NES Classics until 2018, and how they are bringing back the NES Classic Edition in 2018 too.

Great system. I stood in line on launch day Best Buy was very well organized. It's nice that this console comes with the 2 controllers included. The cords are only 3 ft long, so I suggest using an extension cord and long HDMI to bring the console to you if it's a problem. Overall good selection of games and I'm happy with my purchase.

Nintendo could've improved this by creating a dummy cartridge in the console. Other than that, the console is amazing and equipped with some of my favorite games from the era. It's extremely easy to set-up and controllers are decent cable length. (Many complain about the cable length but the length is reminiscent of the original SNES)

Was very hard to find, but worth the search, thankfully Best Buy got a lot of them that day I bought it. Love playing the old school games so much, reminds me of my childhood when I use to play after school. Would've been better if it had the option to download more games, but the ones it has is good enough. Great as a collectible.

This little SNES was a great gift for my wife. She was excited with the line up of the games that are pre loaded onto the device. It is easy to set up, plug in the USB into a wall or whatever and connect the HDMI to a TV source. Plus it is a great device for family to get together and play great games of the past.

The SNES classic contains 20 or so old-school SNES games. I enjoyed the games that were available even though the selection could of been better. There are a few display options such as full screen with border or stretched widescreen. Unfortunately the games (especially 3d ones) dont look quite as good as I remembered. Probably the most noticeable issue I saw was the length of the controller cords. They are very short. So short you'll have to pull up a chair in front of TV instead of sitting on couch. Issues aside I would recommend to a SNES fan.

I made it a point to get a NES Classic and my collection wouldn't be complete without this SNES Classic. I was in line for 16 hours to get this system and it was well worth it. As soon as I got the system home I played Super Punch-Out. That's one of my favorite games and it was so great to bring it to the SNES.

Got this at best buy for around 80 or 90, really really good. It has a save feature with 4 slots so you can save your game anytime. That makes it so much easier and less frustrating to play. All the games are great, super clear hd and plays great. back in the 90s every one of these guys were 50 dollars new.

While randomly browsing Bestbuy's website, I decided to see if they had the SNES Classic in stock, and to my surprise they did! I jumped on it right away and did in store pick up. Its a fun system with lots of classic games that I used to play when I was younger on the original system. I bought cord extenders also so I could relax on my couch while playing. The cords on the controllers out of the box are about 5 feet long, which is ok, but I highly recommend getting the cord extensions. The set up is quick and easy. Plug in the power cord and HDMI cord and you're good to go! This has provided my wife and I hours of fun and will for a long time to come.

Great system, it's a shame people are trying to make significant profit off this system. Instead of writing negative reviews on the product, go to the 3rd party sellers and give them negative reviews. There seem to be plenty in stock around he Minneapolis area. There were 10 left at my Target store, and that was after all he people that camped out got theirs. I ended up getting one from Target for a buddy, and kept the one off the Treasure Truck for myself. No waiting in line or camping out. System works really well. I was able to get it off the treasure truck this morning. I may end up getting some cord extenders so I can sit a bit further from the TV. So far the games are fun. You have to beat the first level of Star Fox to unlock Star Fox 2. I was afraid of what the Widescreen would do to the display, but Nintendo frames the system in its native format, so it doesn't stretch. The large scale TVs does look a little funny with he sharp pixels, but it's nostalgic nonetheless. Great system overall for $79.99 +tax

I was so happy to hear the announcement of the Snes with 2 controllers included and the never before released Star Fox 2 will make its debut, this was definitely a win, win situation. Of course I would have liked to seen more games included but the ones listed are amazing games and worth the price.

The SNES is back and in a much smaller, more simplified package! The collection of games included on the Classic Edition are some of the best ever made, including Super Mario World, Contra III, and Donkey Kong Country! If you grew up in the 90's and have a love for video games, this is a must have!

Not only is this box adorable and the controllers feel authentic, but the emulation of this system is beyond anything else Nintendo has done before. The ability to play SuperFX games perfectly on a HD TV is worth the price of admission alone, but this thing is loaded with other classic games too.

This system takes me back so many years. It has all the classics of the Super NES and everything is packaged into a nice and easy format that even younger children can navigate and use. The save points are great and game selection is amazing. Nintendo hit it out of the park with this one.

I bought this totally on a fluke forgetting it was released the day I happened to be in Best Buy, luckily they still had a few of them left!!!! It has been the perfect size for crying around on the road for work, and it just works well, plus being able to save points in the game is great!

I was very happy to be able to get the SNES Classic Edition after the mess with the NES Classic Edition release. The controllers feel exactly how you remember them, though I wish the cords were a little longer (I hear they are longer than the abysmally short chords for the NES Classic Edition though). The unit itself is super tiny too, and I love being able to play all these old games on a modern TV via an HDMI cable. The game selection is pretty great, including all my favorites as well as a few I never got to check out, however the best RPG on the SNES (and in my opinion, best RPG of all time) Chrono Trigger, is noticeably absent.

I had a NES growing up and could not get my hands on a mini NES. Lucky enough I found a SNES in my local Best Buy. It. Is. Awesome. The games are pre installed all you have to do is plug it in and play. The controllers are great and it brings two. Kirby, Super Mario give me the feels

I was at my local Best Buy and saw a stack of about 14 of these things sitting on the floor and my jaw hit the floor, as these are quite rare to see in stores! Set-up is a breeze; you simply hook up the included HDMI cable and the USB power cable and boom, good to go. The controller cords are a bit small so I would recommend picking up the Insignia cord extenders for an additional $10 (2 extenders are included!) The menu is awesome and save states can be performed by pressing the system reset button. Nostalgia at its finest, or a chance for newcomers to experience the golden age of gaming! MUST BUY if you can find one!

I love my new SNES classic it brought back all my favorites games and I get to show my kids and the rest of this generation how much fun we had in the past the killer thing is they are not widely available and always find on stock but BestBuy is always the best place to find them.

this is perfection, and a great throwback. 21 games installed. i have used it on my TV's and plugged into an alienware HDMI input. It powers up with USB or the AC adapter so it is extremely portable too. Love it and love the games. i recommend buying the extension cables as well.
