The best!!! Went in early and found this gem, great collectible for my collection

Wow. This movie is exactly the best of a superhero story. Totally entertaining tons of action and intrigue. The script is really thought through and tells a story that interests you throughout. This movie isn't an origin story its Superman's introduction to what he is going to do for the rest of his life, which is many things including being a champion for Earth, being a reporter for the daily planet, being a son to his parents, etc. An introspection of Superman's journey to accept his path with this gift and life he has been given. This movie you'll be rooting on the characters. Which is another reason you'll like this movie. You get involved with the characters even the unlikely characters in this film like Lobo and his brashness or Lois and her willingness to do anything to control the situation and get the story. A huge difference that makes this a great movie is the quality. The acting is top notch, everyone sounds like they should. The sound is perfect from the monster yells to the peoples cries. The visuals were the best though. The new way they draw and animate this film is like no other before it. Really amazing talent and time that made the picture colorful, clean, crisp, with a pleasing look. It makes it like your reading a comic book. What a great way to reboot their superhero animated universe. I can't wait for the follow up to this movie. Highly recommend this one. I didn't go into much of the story cause I want you to experience the story for yourself and for you to buy this movie, it is worth it. Two thumbs up!

The aspect of this movie that stands out the most in the art-style, which I absolutely adore. It has that "comic book come to life" feel, which is always great for a comic book adaptation. This movie servers as a pretty straight-forward origin story for Superman, coming after the prior continuity of DC universe animated films ended with Justice League Dark: Apokolips War. I'd be totally on board if other new DC movies used this same art-style as this one. I also appreciate how this movie focused on some lesser-known characters like Martian Manhunter, Lobo, and Parasite. It was also a relief that Lois Lane wasn't portrayed as an uber-annoying feminist as she has been in some other recent shows/movies. This Best Buy exclusive package comes with a figure of Parasite as well. This is a very different design for the character and feels a bit anime-esque (not necessarily a bad thing). I own quite a few of these animated movie + figure combos from Best Buy and truth be told the figures are never of the highest quality. However, I get the notion the figures are meant to be displayed in the box on a shelf which is what I do with my collection. Speaking of the box, when it shipped to my house the bottom part was bent out in such a way that made it difficult to stand upright. It was a minor issue and has pretty much gone away. TL;DR: Definitely worth a watch and most likely a purchase.

So we all know, more or less the origin of Superman. But this particular take on the Man of Steel, or Man of Tomorrow in this case, focused more on his being an alien in a human world and him coming to terms with that. You could used this metaphor for just about anything where people may judge you harshly for just being who you are. Intolerance in all its evil forms being what it is. But this is a fun, hopeful movie that gives us more than I expected. A really good addition to the continued winners that are the DC direct to Video Animated movies. If you are a fan of Big Blue, pick this up. If you're a fan of the other DC movies, pick this up. And that's about all I have to see about it. Thanks for reading and have a nice day!

Superman is a hard character to really explore because of his few flaws. This updated take on Kal El stays very true to the character and does an excellent job of exploring his origin and bringing in new characters like Lobo. It is a reboot but makes it a point to stick to the essence of the character, which as a fan is very important. I am very impressed by the overall story and take on the characters - and the ending was terrific making me want to see the next movie in this particular universe. There is some heart and character exploration here, which is why I highly recommend this to any Superman fan.

DC Animated movies are the only ones I still buy physical copies of. I'm not a huge Superman fan and another solo movie for him is so on brand for 2020 for ruining my day, but this was a fun watch with an interesting story and different(but not too different) animation style. Parent guide: Not overly violent but does have fight/action sequences. *NON-PLOT SPOILER ALERT BELOW* Lobo does use curse words three or four times, so do with that info what you want. Would recommend. Already gave it to my brothers and friends!

This movie really found the heart of the Superman character. No dark grittiness, but a real innocent good hearted Kansas boy who wants to help. The supporting cast was great with Martian Manhunter, Lois and Lobo dine perfectly. Lex Luthor was a step up too from the 52 version DC had been throwing out there. Great story, lots of action and a great start for what hopes to be the new direction for DC animated movies. Focusing on Supes rather than Bats would be a fresh idea.

It was good. It wasn't great but then not every movie is. It's a Superman origin story without the absolute origin that everyone knows by now. It had a different aspect in that it shows Superman becoming Superman with a little help from his "friends". All in all a reasonably entertaining movie.

Another retelling of the Superman story. Not bad, but Lobo steals the show! He's disgusting and hilarious all at the same time! The Martian Manhunter has become my favorite character. I hope that DC will give him his own animated movie! Overall it's a good movie with a more humane portrayal of Rudy Jones,( Parasite), and of course Lex Luthor is as villainous as ever.

DC heads it out of the park again with this new animated feature. This time it stars Superman and one of the most interesting villains in the DC universe "Lobo". The story is a origin story that moves quickly into his adult life, and his introduction to the world as Superman. This is a very nice addition to your DC animated library.

didnt love all the voice actors like I normally do but film still delivers. Fresher retelling of the big blue boyscout if you are a lobo fan DONT MISS THIS ONE. If not buy if for the collection its very well done and proper fights scenes are always a challenge with supes but this one delivers the goods check it out.

Another great Christmas present, especially since it's a bundle deal that can't be beat! Definitely happy to have all three versions, especially digital so I can watch the movie on the go. I typically wait until the DC movies are on sale or a bundle like this arrives, so I'm happy I waited for this one.

I am glad they are still putting out these animated movies. Hopefully this is the start of a whole new continuity. It was a straight forward Superman story and they didn’t try to do anything so radical that it would divide Superman fans. It is simply a re-telling of the Superman origin for modern times. I appreciate that.

This was my first 4K movie purchase! Big fan of all the DC comics animated movies. Watching in UHD brings an even better visual experience than the standard quality. Also great story about superman and some of his teenage years into a young adult. Great cameo appearances from two big comic stars!

Another real good animated movie from DC. Some are better than others. This one "Superman: Man Of Tomorrow" is one of the better ones in my opinion. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of these DC animated movies. Give it a watch, it's a good time alright.

I may be a senior citizen, but like most kids from the 60’s, I grew up reading comic books and loved all the super heroes and their powers. Now those comic books are called “graphic novels”, and they’re making animated features and full length feature films about them..... awesome!

Great Superman movie. DC has taken another shot at adapting an origin story for Superman and this attempt does not disappoint. Lobo and Parasite are great villain choices as these have not been seen in a while in animation. Must own for any DC fans. Recommend this purchase.

Good animation. A unique story about Superman. This is a reboot movie of the DC comic Universe. I guess they wanted to tell some stories over and hopefully do a better job this time. This movie is good. It does not follow any story arc from the comics that I am aware of.

Love getting these DC movies, as I am a big fan of the animated option for DC comic characters. I think this movie could have a been a bit better with the how the villain is established, but overall I like this animation style. I enjoyed it!

Its kind of odd how often DC is changing up the animation style these days. Still i think it works well this time giving this a more iconic look. Overall its a pretty good film with a unique feeling art style.
