Works great! We have a whole house antenna and get about 35 over the air channels and "cut the cord" a couple of years ago. The recorder with 2TB internal memory added allows us to record hundreds of hours and up the 4 shows simultaneously and time shift, binge watch and skip adverts. The recorder uses the wireless network so any show can be shown on any TV in the house using internal wireless or an attached Roku type device (using Tablo software - easy to download). The Tablo handles high def broadcast very well. We also use the internet and subscribe to Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime but the recorder does not interact or record from anything but the antenna.

Purchase it with the hopes to keep it and use it however was not able to get the antenna to pick up as many channels as I need it to. Based on my minimal usage and research, this is the perfect alternative to paying cable and DVR. Small price to pay for free TV and DVR functions (with subscription). 4 stars based on limited usage and research, no fault of theirs that I couldn’t get all channels to be able to keep and do full review.

The skip commercial feature is fantastic! Unfortunately they are going to make you pay an additional subscription price for that feature. Part of cordcutting is getting away from all these fees everybody wants to charge! I love the concept of recording my own OTA, instead of paying a cable company for free tv. The Tablo Quad works well and the guide is pretty good.

Nuvyyo makes an excellent product. I've gotten this to replace the Tablo Dual Lite I've had for 2yrs. There are little annoyances, but nothing functional - it does what it's suppose to and does it well.

Way better than media center. The 4 channel DVR makes it capable of recording lots of OTA (over the air) shows. There are many options to control recordings. The only drawback is that it needs internet access to valid for it to work. Really sucks when internet options are bleak in the country (which is why OTA is free option).

This does everything you need for an OTA DVR. I called Tablo support for clarifying a couple of things and they were very helpful. You only need to add an ext. usb hdd to record.

Just what I was looking for. I can now watch all of my local TV channels and record what those that I would otherwise miss. Great clarity and easy to operate.

I Absolutely love this DVR. it's very easy to get set up and even easier to operate. Will, hopefullyget years of enjoyment from it. Would recommend to anyone.

30 days in, extremely satisfied. Works as advertised and more. Pay the money to get the best antenna to get the most channels and really have it all. Great job Tablo!

Upgraded from a dual. Got all my programs so far.

Although this product performed as expected the design has some limitations. Since the Tablo uses it's own tuner it has some delays in getting to the stations. I did get some minor signal loss in losing several long distance stations I could get with the antenna directly attached. Switching stations is not simply pushing the stations buttons, you must go to the list of stations and scrolling down to it. It does provide a way to get a signal to multiple TV iphones/tablets without a direct contact to cables. All in all well worth it and highly recommended.

I went from DirectTV DVR to this Quad OTA DVR. Easy to install and easy to use. Very happy with my purchase and saving money.

It would have been a great thing to have if it wasn't buffering every 10 seconds. I connected it with very fast wifi and great outdoor antenna but it was stopping on a good signal channels eventhough I reduced the picture quality. 5 minutes setup took me 1 hour and half because quick guide didn't mention I had to turn off my mobile data after trying so many times I had to Google to find out. This is the 1st time I had to go to my phone settings and turn off mobile data. I'm returning it

Add a good antenna and a storage drive to enable this TABLO DVR to do it's thing. It has 4 tv tuners and receives local ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX stations very well. There are many other stations available, but some broadcast in 420k and the picture is less then desired. But I can record any program that is broadcast over the air. With an extra cost subscription, TABLO has a guide and commercial skip feature. This device along with a streaming service and you will wonder why pay for high priced TV cable. p.s. internet service is required.

I was worried about disconnecting from satellite tv but Tablo made it easy. I love how I now have a dvr for what I want.

We love the new Tablo Quad DVR. We choose this DVR because of it's ability to broadcast to all 4 of our TV's, and that feature is awesome. Added a 39.00 OTA antenna, and shut off Cable!!!

Tablo with antenna and 3 terabyte external hard drive are now paid for within less than a year given the savings on my cable bill. If you are happy with TV channels over the air this is a great product. Recommend 4 channel model. Commercial stripping on some recordings. Now with latest software, remote viewing of live and recorded content works great. Great Tablo support!

Great product for what is out there at this time. Easy to use and reliable.

Salesman was knowledgeable and helpful. I bought the wrong tablo and returned it, once again no problem. Sometimes waiting is discouraging. Then i have a tendency to go on line and i would rather shop local.
