It is a great concept but it can get really hot and over heat. I returned mine due to extreme heat issue which sometimes shut down this machine.

This Tablo has made cord cutting so much easier because we can record our favorite shows and movies just like when we used to have cable TV, but without the high monthly bills.

It works fine, but there are additional cost that shouldn't be there without a warning. It doesn't have any memory. To record you need to buy a $50.00 memory card. Then if you want to keep recording with ease, you need to a subscription cost. They a simple task complicated with extra cost. With a price of $200.00 it's a ripoff. I'm not happy with the extra cost.

This replaces my Comcast X1 box to tape up to 4 tv station at once.

Post office sent it on a trip from Ohio to Alaska and finally to me in Minnesota. It was worth the extra week. Product is fantastic and has worked flawlessly for two weeks. I have it connected to the router via Ethernet cable and use usb hard drive. App is easy and intuitive to use. Works great with Roku as well as fire tv.

Tablo device is great. Does everything it says. Have an external hard drive connected and a leaf antenna. Some channels signal strength in my area are not great. So, I do have to lower the resolution/frame rate a bit. Love the device, would recommend to anyone who wants to cut the cable.

Set up was easy. Channel scan had same channels as smart TV scan. It requires an app to connect, record, play back, etc.

Great to have my own dvr. the interface is a little slow because it is run as an app on your smart tv.

Worked well. Set up a new Tablo DVR replacing an old hard drive that was corrupted

I love this device.... I wish I would have looked in to it earlier. I hooked it up to one of my TV's that received the best antenna signal and then I stream it to any TV in the house.

I have had this until for 3.5 months and bought it when we cut the cord and went with an antenna. I am terribly disappointed in the product as it was expensive but thought it would work well. We have 1 gig fiber optic internet yet the until frequently buffers and sometimes loses the channel completely which means whatever I am watching is lost as well. When I try to re-establish the channel I frequently get the message of unknown error and it will not connect again unless I go through a 3 minute process of getting out of Tablo completely. We have about decided that the Tablo is a piece of junk and will probably disconnect it.

This Table does a great job. It has a excellent program menu screen. And maybe best of all, I stopped the $68.50 I was paying for tv service.

Have had it a couple weeks and it records everything on all my local stations. Also nice is WiFi connections gives me access without having to show wires hanging off tv.

Had the Tablo dual and upgraded to this quad. Perfect for recording all of our favorite shows.

If you decide to cut code, this is the perfect solution. Get the quad option for channel recording flexibility. Highly recommend.
