Had a Vizio 65" that was 3 years old "die" on me. The bottom half of the screen's backlight LEDs went out so the bottom half was very dark compared to the top half. Researched for hours over the course of two days looking for a replacement with similar features. Looked at all the retailers as well.
Finally found this TCL. I have multiple TCL TVs in the house and one LG OLED. The TCL's work great and I've had no complaints (they use the Roku OS) so I was leaning towards TCL from the start.
I did see that this particular model was an "only at Best Buy" TV and that always worries me a little. The fact that it isn't a model TCL sells at any other retailers always pops a flag for me. But for the amount of features (which are overwhelming what all this TV offers, just look at the features section) are almost TOO much. You've got multiple HDR's compatible especially Dolby Vision and HLG. Quad LED. Mini-LED. Compatible with Alexa, Google Home (obviously), and surprisngly with the Google TV OS, Apple HomeKit and AirPlay 2 compatibility. It is an entry model as the QM5 series but it is absolutely loaded with features.
A couple of points I want to address. The specifications section on Best Buy for this model states that the legs aren't adjustable. However, as shown in the pictures on Best Buy, there is a "near" set of screws for the legs on this TV as well as a "far" set of screws. I also confirmed this on TCL's website for this model.
The other is the "Game Master". I don't own an Xbox or Playstation but am an avid PC gamer. When I turned on Game Master for the PC HDMI input and extended my gaming PC to this TV, the TV and my gaming monitor both started flashing from showing the desktop to black, constantly back and forth. I tried changing my PC's refresh rate from 60hz to others, tried changing the resolution, the audio, HDR on/off, nothing seemed to stop the flashing when extending my gaming PC to the TV. Then I opened the PC's Nvidia Control Panel and selected the TCL TV and chose to enable G-Sync since my gamig monitor was G-Sync. Thought maybe one having G-Sync and the other not could be the culprit. It did warn me that the TCL TV was not G-Sync approved but I could continue anyway. After doing that, extending my desktop to the TV works fine. Haven't noticed any lag in mouse movement and the flashing went away.
So other than the odd Game Master issue with a gaming PC, the TV has been perfect. The blacks are absolutely 100% pitch black. I can't believe I could easily mistake this TV for an OLED. The colors are perfect, the motion is smooth (to be clear, I turn off the actual motion smoothing, it's just never been for me). It's truly that amazing.
As for the Onkyo 2.1 sound, it's not the greatest. Especially the TV claiming to use that to play Dolby Atmos in your room. It does fill the room with sound and it is directional, but only slightly. Left and right are obviously very good but front to back I just didn't get. Even with Atmos content playing. The subwoofer, I honestly haven't heard. The lows do sound good so I'm sure the sub is being used but I was expecting a little more boom. I have adjusted all of the sound settings too. But the sound is better than most TV's, it just didn't hit like I thought it would per the feature description by TCL. Can't take any points off, I just may have expected more than I should have.
For the price, absolutely a steal of a TV. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased the TCL QM5K, and I can confidently say this TV delivers far more than its price tag suggests. The picture quality is absolutely stunning—bright, crisp, and incredibly detailed. The Mini-LED backlighting and QLED panel produce deep blacks, vibrant colors, and excellent contrast, making movies and sports look truly cinematic.
The motion handling is superb, especially for fast-paced action scenes and sports. Gaming also feels incredibly smooth thanks to its low input lag and high refresh rate support.
The Google TV interface is fast, clean, and easy to use. Apps open quickly, and the built-in voice control works flawlessly. The sound quality surprisingly holds up well too—clear dialogue and decent bass without needing an immediate soundbar upgrade.
Build quality is solid, with a sleek and modern design that fits perfectly into any living room. Setup was simple, and the TV automatically optimized most settings right out of the box.
Overall, the TCL QM5K is a powerhouse. It combines premium-level performance with excellent affordability. If you're looking for a TV that delivers top-tier brightness, color accuracy, gaming performance, and smart features, this model is a fantastic choice.
Highly recommended!

Value off the charts. Great black levels. Colors pop. Skin tones are really natural straight out of the box. ATSC tuner worked amazing. My only advice is to turn down some of the sharpening and de-noising and disable "motion clarity". You can get sets with higher brightness for really searing HDR but overall this 75" local dimming set is so good. Beware the smaller sets below 75" in this line have fewer local dimming zones and I can't vouch they work as well. You have to spend so much more to get picture that is meaningfully better. As far as audio goes it's okay.. get a sound bar. Anyway if you are going 75" and are shopping in this price range just do it.

Amazed at how nice TVs can be even at a reasonable price. Makes our old Roku look like a toy. Great color, blacks are very black. Wall mounted in a relatively bright living room and have zero brightness issues. 10/10

I picked up the 75” TCL QM5K and honestly couldn’t be happier so far. Setup was super easy right out of the box — connected to Wi-Fi, signed into Google TV, and I was streaming in minutes. The Google TV interface is smooth, responsive, and makes switching between Netflix, YouTube, and live TV effortless.
Picture quality is the real highlight here. The QD-Mini LED panel is bright, colors pop without looking over-saturated, and black levels are way better than I expected in this price range. Movies and sports both look amazing — motion stays clear, and there’s plenty of contrast even in darker scenes. It definitely punches above its weight for a “mid-tier” TV.
Sound is decent for built-in speakers, but I hooked up a soundbar and it really completes the setup. If you care about deep bass or theater-style sound, I’d recommend adding one.
Gaming at 4K 60 Hz looks sharp and feels responsive — no noticeable lag for casual play, though hardcore gamers might want higher refresh rates.
Overall, this TV feels like a steal for what you get: 75 inches of crisp, bright, colorful picture with all the smart features built in. TCL really nailed the value here — perfect for anyone who wants a premium-feeling big screen without paying premium prices.
✅ Pros: Great picture quality, bright and colorful, easy setup, smooth Google TV
⚠️ Cons: Built-in speakers are average, not 120 Hz for gaming
Would definitely recommend to friends and family — 5 stars all day.

Ok. All in all nice. The sound surprised us both we don't feel we need a bar or sub. This tv like our old LG is NOT fandango friendly so if you use that be warned. The viewing angle can be worked on also I think. They boast a very good refresh rate from software but I dont see any improvement over a 60 hertz. Good for the price soooooo.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We upgraded to the TCL 75″ QM5K, and I’m honestly so impressed. The picture is bright, crisp, and rich without feeling harsh. Colors look natural, blacks are deep, and everything from movies to sports feels immersive.
Setup was easy, Google TV runs smoothly, and the size makes our living room feel like a mini theater. Sound is better than expected for a TV, though we’ll probably add a soundbar down the line.
We were lucky to find this on sale and the price, let me tell feels like a steal, this feels like a premium TV without the premium stress. Very happy with this purchase.

I’ve been using the TCL 75” QM5K for a while now, and I’m genuinely impressed. The picture looks great with bright colors, deep contrast, and very clear 4K detail. Watching movies and sports has been a great experience, and HDR content really stands out. Google TV is easy to navigate and makes it simple to find all my favorite apps. Setup was quick, and the TV feels solid and well-made. Overall, this is a great large-screen TV and an excellent value for the price. I’m very happy with this purchase. Highly recommended.

This unit is all I had hoped it would be. Sharp picture and great color. Getting used to the opening screen to find the Xfinitiy connection took a few seconds but the Google TV is similar in style to my other Fire TV so it wasn't too bad. I can't comment about the sound as I use my Bose sound bar all the time.
When I first set it up the picture was very bright with everything very sharp. I found the brightness adjustment under the settings key and went from there to my choice of brightness.

Outstanding Performance and Incredible Value — TCL Delivers Again!
I couldn’t be more impressed with this TV and the TCL brand. From the moment I set it up, it was clear that TCL has truly elevated the standard for picture quality, performance, and overall user experience—especially at this price point. Best Buy made the entire purchasing process smooth and straightforward, and the product exceeded every expectation.
The display is stunning: vibrant colors, deep contrast, and exceptionally sharp detail whether you’re watching movies, gaming, or streaming in 4K. Motion handling is clean and smooth, and the HDR performance brings scenes to life in a way that rivals much more expensive brands.
The interface is fast, intuitive, and responsive. Apps load instantly, and switching between inputs feels seamless. Sound quality is surprisingly robust for built-in speakers, and pairing the TV with a soundbar took the experience to another level.
Build quality is solid, sleek, and modern. Setup took only a few minutes, and the calibration options give you full control to fine-tune the picture exactly the way you like it. TCL continues to prove that you don’t need to spend a fortune to get premium performance.
If you’re looking for a TV that delivers exceptional quality, reliability, and value, this TCL model from Best Buy is a standout choice. Absolutely recommended.

The TV looks great and the size is amazing. The picture quality is great but I don't seem to see that much difference from my previous TCL 55" HD tv. I may be wrong. The tv responds quickly and is really fast. If you are not very into TV picture quality, I would recommend the 4k HD and save a couple bucks because the difference is hard to tell. And the price is not bad! got it for $600 on BF deal.
