I picked up the 75” TCL QM5K and honestly couldn’t be happier so far. Setup was super easy right out of the box — connected to Wi-Fi, signed into Google TV, and I was streaming in minutes. The Google TV interface is smooth, responsive, and makes switching between Netflix, YouTube, and live TV effortless. Picture quality is the real highlight here. The QD-Mini LED panel is bright, colors pop without looking over-saturated, and black levels are way better than I expected in this price range. Movies and sports both look amazing — motion stays clear, and there’s plenty of contrast even in darker scenes. It definitely punches above its weight for a “mid-tier” TV. Sound is decent for built-in speakers, but I hooked up a soundbar and it really completes the setup. If you care about deep bass or theater-style sound, I’d recommend adding one. Gaming at 4K 60 Hz looks sharp and feels responsive — no noticeable lag for casual play, though hardcore gamers might want higher refresh rates. Overall, this TV feels like a steal for what you get: 75 inches of crisp, bright, colorful picture with all the smart features built in. Order and pick-up was easy through BBY, and the TV is well packed. Set-up was okay, I got stuck on the Google TV set-up, but managed to finish it. I was disappointed with the picture out of the box; particularly, the motion was not natural, and fast-action scenes were choppy. I went into the settings and turned off the motion control and this is seems much better. I suggest going through the settings immediately. I'm still disappointed with Dolby Vision on Apple TV; the colors are dull, and the picture is not very bright. There is an issue with the dark scenes where the backlight also flickers. The sound seems sufficient, but I am connected to external speakers. Overall, I would say the picture is good but not really a noticeable upgrade to my 10-year-old Sony Bravia. I'm glad I kept it for the kids room, because the 120 hertz native motion rate and color consistency are better. If I had to do this purchase over again I would buy another Sony, even if their lower-end direct light panel I think would be higher quality processing. And BBY's 15-day standard return policy is sub-par to Amazon. Now I'm stuck with this thing for better or worse.

The TV looks great and the size is amazing. The picture quality is great but I don't seem to see that much difference from my previous TCL 55" HD tv. I may be wrong. The tv responds quickly and is really fast. If you are not very into TV picture quality, I would recommend the 4k HD and save a couple bucks because the difference is hard to tell. And the price is not bad! got it for $600 on BF deal.

After finding an open box TCL in 2024 that exceeded my expectations I knew that I liked the brand. When it came time to upgrade and cycle the old TV to the bedroom, I knew a 75" would be the perfect fit for our Living room. After shopping and watching prices, the QM5K looked like it hit all the correct boxes. Local Dimming, greater brightness, Good Gaming and TV features, and free delivery! The 6k will get you 4k 120hz but the 5k is perfect for our family needs with 4k 60hz for our switch and Ps5.

I do not think the photo of this product is necessary. Because depending on how you are taking the photo, the product look might vary a lot. My impression of the TCL TV is as follows. Reason of purchase: We already had LG OLED 55" TV. However wanted to purchase another TV (Larger Screen) for the living room. OLED TVs are great, and if you have more money to spend on a TV, I will always recommend an OLED TV. They are just better than any of the LED, QLED, QD-Mini... IF I had more money to spend, I would have bought another LG OLED TV. However, we wanted something for under $1000 for 75" or 85" for our living room. I actually did my research on the web, and also visited Best Buy to look at all screens. After carefully looking at the prices and quality of the screen, we've purchased TLC 75". Overall: I will give 4.5 Star rating. Value: Great value for the price. There are better prices for Mini-LED TVs from other Chinese brands, but when you go and look at the screen, TCL just has better black levels compared to other TVs, which kind of gives better contrast between colors, which also kind of gives a clearer picture. Picture Quality: As mentioned above, if you have more money, go for OLED. But if you want something 90% quality of OLED for 50% cheaper, get Mini-LED. There are cheaper LED TV, but if you compare LED vs Mini-LED, there are big differences. Sound Quality. Nope... I think this is close to 3 stars. I think there is always a limitation on the sound system for these TVs. This includes LED and OLED TVs. If you want better sound system, buy sound bar. Ease of Use. It is a Google TV, so the UI/UX is quite straightforward. But I still cannot find the web browser on my TV. It is not 100% user friendly. Final advice to anyone interested. If you are purchasing a TV for main use in your household, go for OLED or Mini-LED. They are just better. And unless you have a huge living room, 75" is good enough. I think 85" is just too big. If you are purchasing for small usage, just go for LED. You can save tons. I think 75" Mini-LEDs are around $700, while 75" LEDs are around $400. So you are saving quite a lot. There are some cheaper or similar Mini-LED to TCL Mini-LED. However, I think TCL just has better black, and when you are watching a movie, it shows the importance of better black. Excellent TV for the $600 Black Friday deal we got. 75" TV that has decent colors, contrast, and surprisingly good speakers built-in were all welcome. HDR leaves some to be desired, but spend the money on an OLED if you care about that. This TV would have been easily double the price 5 years ago and is well worth it if you don't need 4K high refresh rate. Works well with HDMI eARC + CEC for using the TV remote to control my JBL LSR305 speakers plugged into an HDMI audio extractor.

We purchased this television on a black friday sale and feel like we received a tremendous value for our expenditure. This tv is great. We're impressed with the picture quality and the intuitive setup and menus. Best Buy provided excellent customer service and a top notch delivery process as well.

Excellent TV. The picture is crisp, and the colors are rich and saturated while maintaining high brightness. This TV outperforms much more expensive sets from companies with higher brand recognition. I don't use the built-in speakers, but they do sound better than a lot of flat panel television speakers I have heard.

TV has exceeded my expectations. However. You will need to make some adjustments to settings to get tv set how you like it. Also, make sure that your HDMI cables on all connected are updated and capable of 4k resolution. ONLY complaint is that i cant seem to change "input" using only my cable remote. I have to use both cable remote and/or TCL remote BTW....sound on this tv is AWESOME
