The battery supposedly wears out after a year, but it works well so far. There's a replacement program that will help you get a new one at a reduced price when it wears out, too.

I got this for half off the regular price. Maybe Tile is clearing these out after introducing their new longer range models. But these work great for me, so I'm happy!

Overall, the tile is very helpful. However, on more than one occasion, the Tile simply has not worked even when it was very close to my Bluetooth enabled phone.

Bought this for my 12 year old son. Set up was easy and he loves it. Not sure he needed it because he could track his phone via the computer but he REALLY needed to have it.

Hey man what can I say. I can find my luggage and my keys. The disadvantage of range and GPS capability can be found is the 2nd gen but I only needed a basic tracker.
