Works perfect. I bought 2 of these. One to automatically turn my deck lights on & off at times of my choice. The other one does the same thing for my driveway lights. I can also control the switches by voice command with Amazon Alexa or the Alexa app on my cell phone.

Since my porch light operates on a wall switch this was the perfect replacement! Works well with Alexa and ITFF! Love having the ability to program schedules, timer and away mode. Also I was able to GEO-Fence the switch! Going to purchase another to control a lamp . .

These switches were easy to install and then setup in the app. The ability to set these switches to come on and off at certain times, even set to sunset/sunrise is a really cool feature.

Love these switches! They are quick to install and integrate into Google Home and Alexa easily. I find them highly reliable and overall glad I am using them. When they go on sale, it's a price point that can't be beat.

Easy installation and works with Alexa! What was an added bonus is this was used for our front porch light and the setup software had an option for on at dusk, off at dawn for any or all days of the week. It will automatically adjust itself for daylight savings and time of year.

I've never fiddled with wiring anything electrical in the house before now and this was super simple to install. The app includes scheduling amongst a number of other options. Combine it with IFFTT or Alexa for additional control options.

Install was straight forward (I've installed light/fan switches and outlets before). Setup was easy (already have KASA-enabled device) and even Alexa connected it right away. I put this in for a ceiling fan switch that was located behind a desk. No issues thus far.

Wish we would have bought this first when trying to operate a set of lights with our Echo Dot but apparently I wasn't thinking. We wanted to operate a set of three lights from three different outlets and the idea of simply connecting multiple smart plugs to our network and plugging them in seemed like an easy solution. The problem was in our bedroom where we tried this, all of our outlets are behind heavy dressers or the bed and the signal isn't strong enough to get through or around the furniture. The solution was to replace the plugs with the smart switch which is well off the floor and unhindered by any bulky obstacles that would block our signal. The installation was pretty easy with the step be step guide in the KASA app and there is a Youtube video available as well. If your uncomfortable with doing your own electrical wiring a qualified electrician could do in no time. The result was a consistent signal and it works like a charm.

Great switch. Replaced a standard light switch and was a straightforward install. Connected to the Kasa app and my WiFi and it works great. Soft touch on/off, control with the Kasa app, or Alexa. Would buy again.

It was easy to install and programing it was not too difficult. We have Christmas candles in all of our windows and now we can turn them on through Alexa or our cell phone. Its like putting a switch in every room.

Very easy to install as long as you have a neutral line. After the first one I installed these is 5 minutes or less. When internet is down they still work great. You can control by Kasa or Alexa, which is great!

These were very easy to setup and very reliable. I have these running in many spots in my home. I have all my outside door lights on smart switches and so then I just create a group and have the ability to turn all on or off whenever or wherever I might be. Great Product!

Once installed this light switch has worked very well. I like the fact that I can turn on my front lights from anywhere in the world and can schedule them to turn on and off. Their app is easy to use and looks great. I like that these do not require a hub to use. Very good price. The installation instructions are a little light on how to install using the neutral wire. It wasn't obvious when I went to install mine where the neutral wire was. All of my neutrals were wired together in my outlet box so it was only a matter of connecting the neutral on the smart switch to this group of wires. I plan on installing more of these switches in my house and possibly a couple of three-way switches in my house using their 3-way kit.

Kasa makes a great product and we have several devices throughout our home.  We have recommended them to many of our friends and family, and they are hooked.  While smart home automation is a fun do-it-yourself project, it is important to keep the following in mind: First, it is important to understand your router's capacity.  Our current router says it can handle up to 40 devices but it is actually doing about 50+.  These devices can add up.  We are a family of three, and between our phones, laptops, tablets, thermostat, doorbell, garage door, cameras...you see where I am going with this.  Everything adds up.  It is important to strategically choose what you want to smart switch: front light, back yard light, garage light, nightstand lamps, etc.  You do not want to put a smart switch everywhere. Next, it is important to pick an A.I. and understand what is compatible with it.  For me, I chose Amazon Alexa.  I really enjoy having the Amazon speakers throughout the home and being able to tell her to turn on/off certain devices.  Also, Amazon 'Routine' allows you to customize how your devices function.  For example, I have one that says if the Ring doorbell detects motion between 11pm to 5am, then turn on my Kasa light switch for the front light for 30 minutes.  I have another that says when I come home after 6pm to turn on the house light.  It is important to understand what brand your A.I. support.  Google Home is another good option that my friends use.  I do not know if I can endorse Apple since they are in a universe of their own and you might get trapped using mostly their product only. Finally, try to streamline your brand.  What I mean by that is do not use Kasa light switch for your front light and use a different brand for your backyard light.  You may end up with several apps for different purposes.  Going back to the A.I. discussion, Alexa allows me to interact with all my smart devices using my smart speakers.  Alexa also allows these devices to interact with one another.  At the end of the day, you want to keep it simple.  I hope this helps.

These light switches are great! You can program them to schedules, set a random Away mode, and they work with smart speakers. This is my second one, I plan on replacing most of the switches in my home with these.

WiFi switch was very easy to install, JUST MAKE SURE TO SHUT OFF BREAKER FIRST, the app is excellent and easy to use, you can set dozens of schedules, and it will even works through Alexa, purchased 2 plugs as well.

Had these for a few months now and they work great. You can turn them on and off from the app, set times to turn them off or on, set schedules and a few more options that I haven't used yet. Perfect for burglar/theft deterrent.

It’s great to still have the option of smart lights even if you’re stuck with dumb bulbs. Installation is pretty straight forward but I went to YouTube for back up. I’ve never done anything like this so don’t be discouraged because if i can do it, so can you. Once the outlet is in the wall set up was a breeze. Great for the price as well.

I haven't installed it yet. But like other TP-Link Kasa products I have, the instructions are clear. My other TP-Link Kasa products also perform well and dependably.
