I was actually looking for an old analog standalone type switch that I could program on/off times for my garage and porch light. I never thought of a Smart Switch. I came across the TP-Link Kasa and it was end of story. My on/off is controlled by software app on my phone. The light can be set to a Schedule (time) or you can have it set to Sunrise or Sunset and I guess it gets the time from the Internet?? Anyway, I don't have to adjust for Daylight Savings. In addition, you can dim the light too. Being a Smart switch, you can control it from anywhere with your phone. Although it can be integrated with Alexa and Google Home and the like, I chose it to be independent and not linked to either for when I tell Alexa/Google to "turn off ALL the lights" I don't want my porch light affected. The TP-Link Smart switch is less expensive than the other brands but works just the same. You're not paying for the "name". It was easy to install. Highly recommended.

This is a great Smart switch. It was easy to install (thankfully I have neutral wires or I'd have been out of luck). The integration with Alexa is easy and fast. The only challenge is the device itself is a little chunky and it was hard to fit it and all the wiring back into the wall box.

I bought 4 of these switches to start with and plan to add them in every room in our home. I had the Phillip's hue startup kit with the bridge and ended up returning it. These run straight off of wifi vs having a required hub. They work awesome so far after 1 month. We will be adding more of the TP Link smart home products. Easy install to existing wiring.

Simple to install, easy to link to our existing Internet, easy to use by phone or Alexa. I have purchased and installed three of them. I guess that means I like them.

I have installed this switch (should be done by electrician or competent home owner ONLY as it requires knowledge of electrical circuits) and used it for 2 months now. I am happy to report that it has been very reliable and capable to turn on and off our ceiling fan (we have at single speed) and to use Alexa for this control. It is seamless with other automation in the bedroom and has not failed us once. Switch still simple enought to use if manual is necessary. The app is a little bit clunky overall but once set up it has worked flawless.

I purchased this switch to operate my lights on the outside of my house while I was on vacation. I am very happy with the performance of this switch. I was very disappointed with the instructions that were included in the box. I had to get online to find adequate instructions. I was able to set the switch to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise. The settings also remained as programmed after a local power outage.

Good smart switch for very little. I had no problems setting up and using the switch. Works seamlessly with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Even when power went out it picked itself back up and started working again as soon as power was back.

Great product, Kasa app is intuitive, and works with Google Assistant. We started with one, like the convenience and added two more switches on the front and side of the house lights. Installation was straight forward. This product will not work with 3- way or 4-way switches. I recommend this product to a colleague and he's happy with the product.

Easy setup pairs with Google home. I can now turn my fan on and off without having to leave the sofa. Basic handyman skills and had wiring done in no time. It took me longer to open the box and find my screw driver than to wire this thing up. Match with the wires use wire nuts installed. Pairs seamlessly with Google home I plan to purchase more.

This is a great little smart switch. It was easy to install, and easy to set up, I have installed two of them so far and they both have worked great. I love being able to control a room's light with my voice. It is so helpful being able to tell Alexa to turn the light on when I am in the middle of doing something and realize that I need more light. I do not have to put down what ever it is I am working on to walk across the room to flip the light on. I plan to install smart switches throughout the house now that I know how nice having these are. At this point, when I do, I plan to us these TP-Link Kasa switches.... unless I discover problems with them down the road which I doubt I will. These are suppose to be quality switches from everything I have read about them and so far, they have been great switches. If I have problems with them, I come back and post about the problem but I doubt I will have any. Time will only tell.

I wanted a physical switch rather than bulbs because I did not want to have to pull out my phone or yell across the house to Google Home, just to turn on and off the lights. It was very easy to set up. Just be aware this device works with 2.4Ghz WiFi networks. If you have a duel band router, you probably want to split the 2.4 and 5Ghz networks and give them different IDs. Connect your phone and switch to the 2.4Ghz network and setup the switch. Once set up, connect your phone to the 5Ghz network. It is easy to setup timers for the switches in the app. For example, I have my switches controlling the outside lights. I set my front porch time to turn on at sunset and off at 9:30. My back porch lite turns on at 5:30 AM and turns off at sunrise. I don't need to readjust my timers as day get shorter or longer though out the year. This switch replaces any standard 2 pole light switch. It does not replace a 3-way switch. Another advantage is no hub is required.

This was the first smart light switch we purchased. Once you load the Kasa app on your mobile device, the setup is a breeze. The Kasa app is great. very simple but still "powerful" as you can schedule various "away" programs. I now have 2 of these light switches and 3 regular switches. Oh, it also works very well with Amazon Alexa.

When I purchased, I accidentally thought the HS200's were dimmers. Though disappointed the HS200 was just an on-off smart switch, we decided to keep the three of them installed in our kitchen — and they’ve been working flawlessly! We already had the Kasa app so set-up was nearly effortless (we had the TP-Link mini outlets on the app). I did chat with their customer service about their HS220 dimmer wall switch regarding a review I had just read and was surprised to learn it had been true— the HS220 can only dim one fixture per switch, and that one fixture must only have one bulb. As there was only one light in the kitchen that matched that criteria we decided it was not worth the expense or hassle to switch it out. I suppose I could buy manual Lutron dimmer switches but I am hooked on WiFi control. One of the features I love about these TP-Link smart wall switches (and their outlets) is how simple it is to set up any variety of on-off schedules to make our home look lived-in when we are away. Prior to installing them, that part of our house was always dark when we were away. If they fail prematurely, I’ll update this review

Realtively easy to install, just make sure you have a neutral line in your junction box. This product doesn’t dim, but I’m using with non-dimming undercabinet LED lighting in kitchen, so not an issue. Works great with Amazon Echo. The Kasa app is well organized and user friendly. Will be adding more TP-Link products as I expand home automation.

tp-link switch is a nice cheaper alternative from the wemo brand. the smart switch was an easy install from physically installing it to connecting the product to your home wifi network. it works well with the kasa app, creating schedules on when to turn the switch on and off. This product also works well with google home/google assistant.

These things are a pain in the butt to install. They are very large and you really have to rework your wall wiring to get them to fit but once you get past the install they are great and easy to setup. I have them connected to our Google Home and they work like a dream. No more forgetting to turn off a light, Google does it for us.

These are very easy to install and to connect to the Kasa app. I haven’t had any problems with these units in my home at all. I was able to easily make these work with my Amazon Echo Dot as well, so Alexa can turn my lights on and off. It is also nice to be able to look at the app and see if any lights were left on when I’m away from home.

I needed a switch to automatically turn my outside lights on and off. This smart switch is almost the same price as an old-style mechanical switch. It was very easy to install, but does require a neutral wire. Connecting it to my smart phone was also really easy. It has worked flawlessly since I installed it.

I have been using this swiitch for over a year and have never had any problems. Easy to set to with the app. TP-Link Kasa products are quality, dependable products.

Great product with basic electric knowledge I was able to install. Pairs easily with google home for voice control. I used to so I can turn my ceiling fans without having to get up. I have three in my house and the first one was put in over two years ago and I have had no problems with it ever.
