Bought this for the outdoors. It's very rugged and the sound is excellent.

This speakers is great. Its built tuff, is waterproof and its loud. And if you want to turn it up even more you can connect with other UE speakers wirelessly with virtually no latency. I have no complaints about this speaker, love it

We tried out all the testers in the store and while the bass isn't crazy on this like on the Beats, this has a great overall sound and great volume! We also heard the sound already blown on the Beats and this gets really loud and no problems.

To start with, I decided to buy this speaker based on a great experience I had previously with Megaboom version. I found this discounted for great deal. I have been using it for 5 months now, and below is the detail for my 1 star review: 1- built: very nicely built with high quality materials. seems durable and tough. I believe it is water resistant but I have not tested personally. 2- Battery life: lasts for very long time. I am talking weeks of mild daily usage. 3- User friendly: app lets you turn it on/off, equalizer, set alarm, connect with other speakers, and even become a DJ for your friends who have UE speakers. 4- Upgradability: this speaker firmware can be updated by manufacturer, so you are not stuck with the same version. 5- Compatibility with iOS. this speaker is designed for iOS devices. It connects seamlessly with iPhone, iPad, and macs. I am not sure if you can access all features from other operating systems. Very nice integration with iOS. 6- Sound: this is where my disappointment lie. This is a "speaker", and if it cannot "speak" it is worthless. the sound is super muffled, as it is coming out of tube. It can get loud, but the louder you get the more muffled. The sound experience is completely different from Megaboom. I am even thinking that mine is defective at some point. you are better off with a cheap amazon speaker from Oontz or anker than this. I don't understand why they charge premium price for mediocre (at most) product. I am very unhappy with it and feel deceived by it. i realized this fact after a while of use and out of "return window" for BestBuy. otherwise i would definitely return it. I do not recommend this to anyone. For BestBuy, awesome speedy delivery as usual. I shop all my electronics from BB.

The UE Boom 2 is an amazing bluetooth speaker. The sound quality is great even at full blast. The ability to link multiple UE products and basically have surround sound is awesome.

The sound quality is outstanding and the battery life is impressive. I bought the smaller of the two models with the hope that it would be loud enough for music while working around the house and I could throw a party with this thing.

Great sound, good value. The best Bluetooth speaker I have owned. A friend knocked it into the pool, it shut down and restarted and played fine once it was removed from the water.

The sound is amazing and what's even better was this was on sale from the original price. Easily connects via bluetooth and also can connect with other UE Booms to be even louder.
