It was very frustrating! I had to figure out how it was hooked up; you couldn't just turn on the power button. Also when you used the cable remote you had to make sure you aimed at the tv and the cable box. Sometimes the cable box would turn on but not the tv. Also, the sound quality is not that great. Another thing negative is the picture doesn't fill the whole screen. The picture quality is very good.

Posted .Thanks for taking the time to review our product. If the picture isn't filling the entire screen, this could be due to an issue with aspect ratio. Older content was filmed in a 4:3 aspect ratio (to fit on older, 'Square' CRT tv's). Newer content is filmed at a 16:9 aspect ratio, that is supported by HD Televisions and Displays. If the picture isn't filling the screen it may be because you are watching older content. It may also be an issue with the settings inside of your cable box. Make sure the cable box is set to a 16:9 aspect ratio, so that the TV is getting a picture that will fill the screen. If you have any questions, or would like a more in depth explanation, feel free to reach out to our support team. This new software update is rolling out to most VIZIO SmartCast displays and will be downloaded automatically.
