Google "disposable tv" -- you will see Vizio highlighted. We bought a top of the line Vizio TV and 13 months after purchase I called Vizio when I noticed that the right side of the screen was dark. In truth, it had been failing much earlier, but we thought it was just the video we were watching. It was only when it got progressively worse that we realized something was wrong. OK -- no big deal. Stuff can break. What I wasn't prepared for was the rude, condescending attitude from the Vizio technical support. Not just one person. I called a couple of time and spoke with 3-4 different representatives and managers and the response was the same: Our warranty is for 12 months. Your tv failed at 13 months. So, tough luck. They would be willing to offer a discount on a new tv -- but admitted that I'd probably find a better deal on line. So there you go -- almost $1,000 spent on a tv that fails just outside of the warranty period and there's no grace or even treating the customer with respect. Yes, the image was great when it worked. But, these TVs fail and when they do you're out of luck. Yes, you could purchase a repair plan -- but that just escalates the cost to cover for a bad product and poor service. And, eventually, your repair plan will run out and then you're stuck. My goal is to save other consumers my frustration. Stay away.

Great TV for great price. Picture is great, vivid. However, the TV does not have a tuner build in. Went through a great deal finding a tuner. Sad to say, Best Buy sales person (electronic department) informed me that they do not carry TV tuners. As a matter of fact, he could not and did not help me at all. Very unprofessional and inattentive. I had to do a lot of research on the TV to figure out how to get local channels. I found a tuner and the TV is awesome. I would recommend the TV. Customer service was awesome. They even helped us carry out and secure the TV. Kudos to your service department!!! Thank you online service and store customer service!

I have bought Visio TVs before and have always been impressed with their performance. When it came time to buy a new TV for the living room, the choice was between Sony or Visio. Both brands were well reviewed, had good specs and offered similar options. Side by side comparisons showed that I liked the Visio picture better, with better contrast, sharper images and colors I preferred over the Sony. Add the price advantage and the Visio comes out on top. Having lived with the TV for several weeks, I am quite pleased with the choice. Once again, Visio delivers a great product at a great price point. I was able to buy this on sale for under a grand. That's a mad deal for a 70" 4K UHD television. One small point to know is that this particular model does NOT have a tuner circuit. That means if you plan to use an OTA antenna, you'll have to get a converter box to go with it. We are trying to cut the cable cord, so local channels are only available with an digital antenna. Know what you want to do with your TV and make sure it meets your needs. Bottom line....this is a great probuct, with great performance and a great price point.

Don't know how I obtained this TV for $850 after tax but I sure am glad I did. I personally do not plan on updating my Blu ray collections nor do I plan on buying all new HDMI wires to obtain true 4k as I have spent enough already on entertainment needs. Needless to say this TV is an excellent price if you do most of your viewing via Netflix or Vudu like me and family do. It does in fact play shows and movies from both apps at HDR but for those looking to have a TV that allows gaming with HDR then this is not the tv for you. But if your intentions on watching movies and shows is all you plan to use this TV for then it is by far the best deal you can find for the money. My Blu rays look great on this TV and sound quality is great with my 5.1 audio surround. Just be sure to go into settings and set audio output to dolby digital.

Great scene and beautiful size. Good smart tv functions but bother unheard of. Easy to set up and connect surround sound, game consoles and blu Ray.

1. No tuner. You cannot connect an antenna without an external tuner. 2. Only HDMI 1 is HDMI 2.0. Inputs 2-4 are HDMI 1.4a. To summarize, only HDMI 2.0 can handle 4K at over 30Hz. Great picture. Search for reviews and you will find that they are quite good. Full array LED backlight with good local dimming. HDMI 1 has ARC for connecting to a soundbar.

Picture quality is good what I was looking for, Reasons for taking out a star are, remote is basic not many you can do with it, app can do the rest of the job but I don't want my phone nearer when I watch TV. Youtube app plays only through phone no YouTube app to directly access it on screen. Bluetooth enabled- I could not find the option Bluetooth. Afterall I was super satisfied with the prize I bought it

We knew this was a good tv because our tech genius son recommended it. We wanted a large tv and were so confused what to get, how much to spend and what all the features actually meant to us and how we use the tv. This one is great! Nice clear picture. Edge to edge and we haven't even explored what it can do. Recommend this with no reservations.

I bought this TV a month ago primarily as a games screen for my teenage daughters, but they also use the smart functions to watch streaming services like Netflix. The image quality is terrific and the sound from the built-in speakers is very good. My only reservation about the device is the remote control, which is very light weight and flimsy.

This television is a GREAT television for the price. The chrome cast works flawlessly, the picture is awesome. Bought a 4K Blu-ray player and the picture is amazing! The only thing I wish it had, is picture in picture.. Everything else is awesome! Have had for almost a year.

Was looking for a larger TV, after checking several models this was a great amount of quality for the best price. Very easy to set up as well. Only drawback is that the volume is very low unless you hook it up to a surround sound or purchase a sound bar.

These are outstanding 4K UHD 70 inch displays. We began with one of them and have added three more in various locations around our campus. Will be adding one more of the 70s and a 75" soon. Set up is a breeze. Smartcast and the IOS app are powerful and versatile. I have also purchased the Vizio soundbar with wireless subwoofer and they work perfectly with these displays. Remember these do not have any kind of television tuner so you will have to have an external source, DVD, Apple TV, or other source provider. I use two of these in our office with an HDMI to CAT6 network to display digital signage. All in all a great display at a great price.

Been wanting this particular TV for some time. Got it on sale, ordered on-line, and had it shipped Free. Delivery was great. Instructions via BestBuy, Visio, and online were super helpful. Setup was easy. SmartTV features works wonderfully via ethernet cable. Picture is awesome too.

This is by far the best value in a 70" 4K HDR TV. Picture is bright and everything works well. Be aware that there is no tuner so everything is cast or sourced from some external source. Also, it seems that only a single HDMI input actually supports 4K HDR the others are only 4K.

I needed to upgrade from my 55" 1080p TV up to a larger 4K model. Vizio never disappoints as far as bang for your buck goes. The picture is great, can't wait for more 4K content to be available. You won't find many TV's this size with High Dynamic Range for such a great price.

Got a great deal from Best Buy and so far so good. I have had this for about 2 months and I love it. Easy to set up all the apps are nice and easy to access. For the price it is a great deal. You pay a premium when going up from the 65inch but this TV is worth it.

I was in the market to upgrade to a 4K TV, and Vizio was one of my main brands, so when I saw the Best Buy deal pop up I was quick to run to the store and check it out. Ended up getting the TV for $450 off listed price, I appreciate that Best Buy. First impressions, this TV is awesome! 70” is huge and makes watching TV fun. I haven’t hooked up the PS4 to it yet, so I can’t comment on gaming is. Unboxing was easy and setting it up was very simple and easy. I downloaded the remote app and controlled everything from my IPhone. I’m giving it 4/5 stars just because I’m hesitant to give it the wow perfect rating until I use it a little more, but so far very pleased with my purchase.
