    Worst purchase I've made in quite some time. Maybe ever. I consider myself a techie and have essentially given up on this setup. I'm now back to just listening to my TV speakers so as to avoid the hassle of constantly trying to get this unit to function properly. Voices are constantly out of sync with what's on your TV, the sub sounds terrible and often needs to be restarted to "work" properly, and the device simply turns itself off at it's own choosing. Truly, this is a terrible product. Save yourself the hassle.

    Sound bar stopped working one year after purchase

    And Vizio will not stand by their product. This product worked great for a year, then suddenly the volume started going up and getting stuck at maximum. After a 30 minute chat session with tech support troubleshooting the product, I was informed that I will have to just replace it. They only offer protection for one year, and I purchased this 14 months ago. Nobody should have to pay an additional $30 to make sure a product that costs $250 will last two years. I will never purchase another Vizio product again.

    Subwoofer and rear speakers stop working

    This has a constant problem (daily) where the subwoofer and rear speakers stop working and the only way to fix it is to uplug it from power and plug it back it. I have tried contacting Vizio support and they want me to send it to them for like 3 weeks or they will send me a USED soundbar as a replacement. I did not purchase a USED soundbar I want a new soundbar that works please. Samsung has better service, when my Samsung TV died they gave me a credit to go to best buy and just purchase a new one.

    Bought this due to this is the second sound bar, Good sound bar, bad part made in China. If I knew it was made in China would have look for a sound bar made else where.

    Stopped Working less than a year after purchase

    Within a year of purchasing and setting up the sound system, it stopped working. Actually as early as 8 months it started randomly changing inputs or shutting the television off. I didn't realize this glitch was being caused by the soundbar until it completely stopped working and was removed. No more changed inputs. The bar itself will not power up. It was easy to setup and I was happy with the quality of sound for the price, but to quit working before a year, that is very low quality.

    Wont power on any more.

    Just stopped working. I went through alot to set up that room and snake/huge the wires from the sub to the surround speaker. Now it just wont power on. I dont want to replace it with something different. I just the main soundbar and power cord replaced. Please assist.

    Vizio SmartCast 5.1 Sound Bar

    Was delivered on 10/22/19 waited to set up untill speaker stands arrived, set up was completed 10/26/19. So the left rear speaker didn't work called Vizio support could not resolve issue. Omar was the person that I spoke with said that they would send another brand new sound bar out, instead of just sending me a left speaker. Bad thing is I have to put my Credit Card number as collateral just in case I don't send other unit back to them. I am Disabled what a pain in the but.

    GARBAGE! I purchased this in April of 2020 after moving into my first apartment. first, I thought it was lost in the mail as it took forever to come in (due to corona I'm guessing) it is now only December and my sound bar does not work! the speakers are blown and the audio cuts in and out. what does customer service tell me? unplug it and plug it back in. AS IF I WASNT DOING THAT FOR WEEKS. Garbage, do not waste your money on.

    Couldnt be more disappointed, between the randomly shutting off to the random disconnecting of the blue tooth. Having to pull the sub out to re pair to main unit. Be careful too as there are still wires that goto the rear speakers. How do you fix this send your unit back to Vizio and wait for them to send you a new one. Crazy Not impressed even when it is working the center/front speakers sound the same as my TV. Regret buying this and the Vizio TV I got. I should have sucked it up paid a little more and stuck with reputable Samsung

    Audio Lag / Lip-sync issues

    I have this unit paired up with a TCL 55R615. I get various levels of audio delay, somewhere from almost-correct to annoyingly off. Changing all the settings and even doing a factory reset doesn't fix it. I'm connected via HDMI-ARC. I would return this unit, but I'm just beyond my return window. I do not recommend purchasing this soundbar.

    Power turns off by itself daily while watching tv. I have to do a reset at least once a week because it has no sound. Had to contact customer support twice because reset wouldn't work. They got it to work again by hard resets b can not tell me why I'm having these problems they just keep telling me to contact them if it happens again

    Not true 5.1 surround sound. :( not happy with my purchase. Satellite speakers do not offer balanced sound when you want to listen to music.

The sound bar does also have a built in equalizer that can be switched to Music that will give you the balanced sound you are looking for when listening to your music. VIZIO

    I just bought this soundbar because I thought I was saving money, I connected it to my 65 4k TV and guess what, it keeps turning off every 5 - 10 minutes, and with eco mode disabled, energy-saving disables, I did a hard reset on both items, my tv and soundbar, and nothing, the same problem, I don't know what to do now, I will return this piece of garbage.

    Not great sound subwoofer has to be right in front of sound bar for it work. Not how my room is set up. Every time some walks in front of it kills the signal

    It is starting to glitch and fail after almost two years. I pause or fast forward Netflix or any other streaming service and it loses sound for minutes and sometimes it will not come back on at all. Tried ever solution possible to fix but it seems to be getting worse. I will never buy a Vizio sound bar again. All these great review do not tell how long their products last. Now I know
