I bought this sound bar 13 months ago and found that my sound bar won't even turn on. 2 month over warranty shouldn't mean that I have to buy an entirely new sound system. Thats $250 down the drain. Thanks Vizio for nothing.

Should have returned it as soon as it started but kept messing around with it to try and get it to work too long to return.

Two years later, this thing is broken

Then, it started increasing and decreasing the volume continuously. Then it stopped responding to the remote; it wouldn’t even turn off. Now it just wont play any sound at all.

Can't add a picture because its the sound bar that doesn't work. It just gave out. Best buy answer they can't do anything. Just frustrated over this product

Horrible

I've had problems from day one had to exchange soundbar for new one and still having problems. I had my TV fixed and still having problems. And if you don't buy the extra warranty Best Buy will NOT help you

Not good sound quality

Waste of $

The only good thing that it installs easily and it was only $ 200.00. Other than that, the Sub and external speakers seem to be non existent.

Posted .Hello LADave, the subwoofer and satellite speakers will perform best when receiving 5.1 signal. These speakers also have their own individual adjustment settings to increase audio from those speakers. Please contact our customer service if these changes to not affect your listening experience.

The small speakers were more of an echo and sounded really low the subwoofer sounded like it was crackling if it was too loud. Returned it and paid a little more for something better

Called and sent in multiple requests for repair and nothing constantly given the run around.

Bad deal

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound Quality : I have a LG 2.1 channel sound bar which works perfectly fine. i wanted to try out surround sound speakers for watching movies. this 5.1 channel sound bar makes such a huge difference. its like being in an actual theater!. Actual surround sound speakers make it so much better than the virtual surround provided by few sound bars. The sound quality is really good too, much better than the Bose solo and few other LG,Samsung sound bars in this price range, plus you get 5.1 channels for ~180$. Settings: you can control the bass, treble, Center( dialog), surround balance/volume and subwoofer from the remote or the vizio smart cast mobile app. has 3 EQ modes - Movie,Music, Direct. You can enable/disable surround sound, TruVolume, Night mode. The remote is not that great , i find the app more easier to control. Chromecast / Google home : this has built-in chromecast support , so you can cast songs directly from the mobile apps for Spotify, Pandora, Google music etc. It uses your wi-fi to play songs directly. i prefer this to bluetooth , as you can text/call without stopping the music plus it wont run your phone battery down and no need to switch inputs on the sound bar. I can ask google home mini to play songs on the sound bar. it will automatically turn on the soundbar and play the music. i can play/pause/stop all with just voice controls without touching any remote. Tips : - To control the volume of soundbar from other remotes and for better sound quality, make sure you are connected to TV via the HDMI ARC connection on both ends and that you have enabled the HDMI-CEC mode on the TV. i can control the sound from my Roku remote. i ask my google home to turn on/off the TV and the sound bar automatically turns on and off with the TV. with this, all i need is one remote to control TV and soundbar. - Make sure to turn off the Eco mode. this causes issues with casting songs and can be little slow in powering it on. Cons: - No display on the sound bar. hard to decipher the LED flashes. - Remote could have been better. but i use the mobile app anyways and one less remote to use.

couldn't tell a difference when it was on

Don’t get
