So cheap quality

Product Sucks!! Speaker blew in first week

Sound is great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We purchased this to replace a Onn 2.1 that didn’t not have the rear speakers or subwoofer. It took a few tries to pair the subwoofer but once we got it working the sound is much better then the old system. ( tip: keep holding the power on the sound bar button longer for the sub to pair) I spent 45 min getting used to the remote and adjusting the sound from front to rear, treble and base. In a bigger room you will need to adjust sound so you don’t get a delay to rear speakers. Once it was adjusted the sound is very clear and crisp. So far I’m impressed with this unit, it is cheap and well worth the money invested. The only thing I would want to add to it is to adjust the sound to where you can hear more of the talking to the rear speakers it seems only ambient sounds go to them. If there is a adjustment for this please respond. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Great upgrade from Sony HT-CT390
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, the rating is excellent for the $150 black Friday price. I am using this soundbar on a LG UK6190 TV via the ARC HDMI input (enable ARC on TV) and Xbox One X. On the Xbox I had to configure the Audio settings on it to use Bitstream and use DTS. When I used the Dolby Digital setting I noticed a lip syncing issue in Netflix that I was unable to correct with the audio sync options. But with DTS it works fine (this might save people some time). I am not sure if this was related to using ARC instead of another audio cable option, but I am not spending the time messing around to find out. The default settings on the soundbar will need to be adjusted to your liking. I connected my phone to the soundbar with the Vizio Smartcast app so I can see the values set for bass, center, treble, ect. I lowered the center to -7, bass -1, treble 2, the others at 0 so far (which is default in the middle value) surround on and truevolume on, truevolume seems to give it a better home theater like experience. I am not done tweaking the settings so maybe use this as a baseline to adjust to your liking. To test and make sure 5.1 is working on the Xbox I used Netflix with the matrix. You can use any movie on Netflix that displays 5.1 below the title name of the movie, and see if audio is coming out the rear speakers. So after all this, which took me about an hour to figure out I am happy with this soundbar which is much better than the Sony HT-CT390. There is a bit of a learning curve/adjusting of settings that people may not have planned for while buying this soundbar. But once you figure it out you'll be happy with the time investment getting it setup. Another notable mention is that this soundbar has all the audio cables you would need to get started which is a huge plus. You also don't need to use the subwoofer power cable for the subwoofer, you can use the one labeled for the soundbar (which is longer) for the subwoofer they both have the same power rating / output. Thanks
