Makes a werid noise i. The back i wouldnt recommend this is okay for begginers but not good

Arrive at home with my family to view a movie and the sound bar didn't work,at least turned on!!!!!

I wanted surround sound in my large living room without having to drill through walls and hardwood floors. My research thankfully led me to this 5.1 vizio setup. Soundbar is hooked up with an optical audio cable off a samsung tv one connect. We watched jumanji last night off apple tv and wow. Excellent value and would have to spend 3 times price to find better sound in my opinion. Out the door under 300 with a 4 year warranty. Even better is the product sounds great for tv and movies recorded in surround sound. Setup was simple and after making adjustments and turning off ecomode could not be more pleased. I have another set up for music only so can't comment on that. Excellent for intended purpose and recommended as value champion.

Subwoofer keeps disconnecting from the soundbar. It was easy to install.

I absolutely love this soundbar. Easy hook up by just connecting power cord from soundbar and another power cord to wireless subwoofer. The satellite speakers connect to the subwoofer. Vizio goes above and beyond by providing an HDMI cord and the digital optical cord for audio. I got lucky and caught it on a one day sale for $170! I have a 4K Vizio M series tv and they both work great together. The volume is above excellent for a regular bedroom and I only raise it to about 70% of what its capable of.

First, I trialed this system at Costco xmas of 2018. It beat everything Costco was selling, including the $1000 Bose system. The system went together with my TCL TV using ARC (and/or optical) to input the sound. However, the system has 2.5 problems. First, the computer crashes which means its turned on and the volume goes up/down etc but you just can't hear anything. My solution is to power cycle it, using either the remote or by physically disconnecting the power plug input into the soundbar. Second, it gets out of sync, sometimes horrendously (1+ seconds) so. Never fear, just a single up/down flick the AV Sync menu on the remote will reset the delay to extremely lower. However, you can never get perfect sync, i would estimate the soundbar is always 50 milliseconds behind the speaker. Third, the remote took the crazy decision to use an almost invisible electro luminescent display. I have to get my phone and flashlight app to see the remote in dark AND lighted rooms. A few weeks ago my remote just broke, which bricked my soundbar so I had no soundbar until a new remote ($11) came from the nice guy in China. This I would consider half a problem, hence, 2.5 problems total.

This soundbar is so easy to set up, and sounds really good. I dont turn the volume up too much but it gets just the right amount of bass. The rear speakers arent very loud but they do the job. For a 5.1 for around $200, its hard to beat. Definitely worth it. I own two of these now as I put one in my bedroom as well

I previously went through 2 aoundbars, some more expensive than this one.....I finally realized that I need back speakers to enjoy true surround sound Simulated see sound sound didn't but it for me. I didn't have a way to feed wires to the back to the room.It took me 15 mins to set this up. I just put the wireless subwoofer in the back do the room, wired the speakers to the subwoofer.....and BAM....5.1 surround. Highly recommended .... Amazing sound quality as well !

Wish I got this a long time ago. Sounds amazing. Great sound and bass. 1000x better than just the TV speakers. Recommend using the ARC connect for best sound.

Setup was very easy, just minutes. Used Vizio Customer Support and they quickly resolved one issue I caused after setup; great and easy support source. Sensational improvement over standard tv sound system. 5.1 system separates sounds of tv or Pandora broadcasts in ways I never knew existed: a transforming experience. Remote, and especially the Vizio SmartCast App downloaded to my Android phone makes finite sound adjustments a snap making quick adjustments with various tv and music broadcasts. Made our 18' x 16' Family Room a music hall. Perfect in this room providing tremendous volume, bass, treble separation, etc. With some standard tv broadcasts of sports events our tv often made crowd background noise make commentator speech difficult understand. With 5.1 you can separate sounds/speech in ways you never knew existed; a transforming experience. Vizio packaging was great, contains anything and everything you'd ever need to set it up; no annoying trips for items like cables, etc.. Very well thought out. I agree with other review that tried/returned other soundbars from other manufacturers and then "hit the trifecta" after finally buying/trying this unit. Would I recommend this product? ABSOLUTELY! I'm getting my brother-in-law to get one himself right now. Store set-up demonstrations don't do any justice of what this system can do. Only once you set it up in your own home will you understand what this system will do. We keep on laughing every time we turn it on knowing what we have truly missed up to this point. We've had multiple Sonos Player 1 speakers in the house prior to this. To understand what you get with this Vizio sytem for the price of only one Sonos speaker will blow you away.

On Sale for $169 before tax is an outstanding value. Worth a hundred dollars more. Set up took about 30 mins but the sound is great for TV/movie watching. Using it in a small living room 24 ft by 14 ft and it fills the room. Its important to note that only the subwoofer is wireless, the rear speakers come with wires and plugs. Its the best sound under $250, period.

Ok... just bought a Vizio 65 inch P series... got rid of my old stereo set up and wanted a basic soundbar. The good... easy setup, clear markings, cables for everything. Really clear instructions. Sound is good for the price. The bad... it turns on and off without warning. Called Vizio daily they are sending me another one.. but just wanted folks to know. Second, the remote.. is terrible.. hard to read in the dark..syncing function works sporadically. Let's see if the gremlins leave with the new unit.
